I have been taking my car to Personal Touch Car Wash & Quick Lube for about the past five years. With every oil change you get a free car wash. They are usually pretty quick, and if you look in the local papers or coupon home mailers you can usually find a coupon for a quick lube combo for around twenty five dollars. They also let you save the free car wash for another time if you don't feel like having your car washed that day or if it is raining on the day you get your oil changed.

Long Beach Skateland in Stratford near the Sikorsky airport has been around for as long as I can remember. It hasn't changed since I was a teen twenty years ago, and I think the skates they have are still the same after all these years! My son had a great time skating for the first time here, during a birthday party for a classmate. They are open on the weekends, and I believe that during the week you can rent out the place for parties. It's a little bit dumpy, but the kids all had a great time skating and falling!

Skin Deep is a great tattoo parlor located right on front street in Lahaina. I went in to the shop on one of the first days of my vacation, with the picture of the butterfly tattoo I wanted. I scheduled an appointment for my next to the last day on Maui, as you have to avoid sun and water for the first day or so of getting a tattoo. They did an excellent job of drawing just what I wanted, and did a great job of the tattoo itself. I was in the chair for two hours, and the artist was very nice and professional and efficient. I highly recommend this shop, they have a good reputation and good artists.

Center Deli in Huntigton center is an awesome place to get lunch. They have daily specials which are always great. My favorite is a mozzarella and red pepper sandwich, it is really good. An added bonus - my friends from work and I have nicknamed this hot guy deli, as it always seems to be filled with young blue collar guys grabbing sandwiches for lunch! The wait is usually not too long. They take credit and debit cards here too. The prices are pretty expensive, but the quality of the food is excellent.

Woodside Deli has great food for breakfast and lunch. My office is just down the road from Woodside, and it is the only place we will order breakfast sandwiches from on the ocassions we order breakfast. They also have a great selection of different deli saandwiches at lunchtime. I don't believe they deliver, but it is worth the drive to go and pick up breakfast or lunch from Woodside deli. I hear they make a mean breakfast buritto as well.

Tail Gators is a pretty good bar to hit with your coworkers after work. The drinks are reasonably priced, they have darts and the such, and sometimes they have a guitar player. I would not quite call the place a dive, but it's not exactly a classy joint either! It is a fun meeting place to hang out and throw back a couple beers or shots, and they do have a menu. We ordered the buffalo wings the last time our office celebrated five o'clock! They were good. The band that was playing that night was misadverised though.

The Metro Grille & Bar Restaurant is a very nice restaurant. The bar is rather pretty big, and they serve excellent casual lunches and dinners. The Metro is conveniently located in Shelton next door to Stop & Shop. They have great burgers, salads and pasta dishes. This is a great place to go for a nice lunch with friends or a dinner date. And it is also a great place to hit for happy hour with some friends or coworkers. The bar gets pretty packed on a Thursday or Friday after work.

The veterinarians and the whole staff at Shakespeare Veterinary Hospital are just wonderful. I would never take an animal anywhere else for veterinary care. They are very compassionate and understanding. We took our dog to a few different veterinarians before finding Shakespeare. We could never find ones we liked until we went to Shakespeare. I don't have a pet at the moment but when I do get another dog we will be sure to go back to Shakespeare, they are very caring and experienced.

A new Quizno's subs just recently opened near me, so I decided to check it out for a quick take home dinner one night. I didn't bother to check out the prices when ordering. I ordered two regular size prime rib sub meals, which each included a bag of chips and a drink. I also ordered a kids pizza sub meal. This included a small bag of goldfish, a large cookie, small toy and drink. The total came to twenty five dollars! I was surprised. The prime rib subs were tasty. The pizza sub looked and tasted disgusting, and the cookie wasn't very good either. If I go to Quizno's again I will definitely check out the prices of what I am ordering first, and scan local papers for discount coupons too.

Michaels The Arts and Crafts Store has a wide range of products used for arts and crafts. I recently went to Michaels to help my son find some products for a school project. They have a really wide range of products to choose from, but unless they are having a sale or you have a percentage off coupon, their selection is pretty pricey. They do have a children's birthday club that you can sign up for. Your child will receive something in the mail around their birthday - this ends up usually being a percentage off coupon. They do have a lot of little dollar items near the registers, you can usually find some cute little gifts there.
