We dined at the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney, and it is a great dining atmosphere for the kids. There is a tropical rainstorm every thirty minutes, which is really cute and entertaining. The food is just all right, and it is overpriced. I do feel sorry for the waitstaff, as they are trained sales people, constantly talking your ear off and trying to sell you extras and items. That was really a bit annoying. But my son enjoyed all of the animals and the thunderstorms, and it gets you out of the orlando sun for a spell.

We had a fabulous time staying at the Disney Pop Century resort. While it is a value resort, I felt the room was quite adequate. I was worried it would be too small, however it was the perfect size for two adults and one nine year old. The pool was virtually open until whatever time you wanted, as long as you were not being loud or obnoxious. The decorations are very cute, and the pools are all very nice. This is a nice resort to stay at if you are visiting Walt Disney World, I highly recommend this place. There is also a lake you can take a stoll down, and you can't beat the Disney buses which run all day between the parks and the resorts.

The Contemporary Resort is a Disney Resort which is just outside of the Magic Kingdom. It is the first monorail stop after leaving the kingdom. It has a contemporary design which i am not crazy...
The Contemporary Resort is a Disney Resort which is just outside of the Magic Kingdom. It is the first monorail stop after leaving the kingdom. It has a contemporary design which i am not crazy about, but the inside of the resort hotel is beautiful, and the views of the Magic Kingdom are incredible. They have several great restauarants in this hotel, including Chef Mickeys, which the kids love because it is hosted by Donald Duck, and the characters all make the rounds to visit every table. This is an expensive resort, one of the highest priced of the Disney hotels, but if you can afford it is worth the price.

Med now is a pretty good walk in medical center. There are not many wal in medical centers in this area, and this one seems to do a pretty good job of taking people in after a reasonable wait time....
Med now is a pretty good walk in medical center. There are not many wal in medical centers in this area, and this one seems to do a pretty good job of taking people in after a reasonable wait time. Be warned on Sunday morning at opening hour a line is usually formed! I have been to this medical center several times over the past few years for minor injuries or colds, and have seen pleasant doctors at each visit.

Nick Magazine is a big hit in my house, my nine year old son loves the humor in this magazine. It is a tiny bit like Mad Magazine, in that it spoofs various books, movies, popular celebrities, etc. My son was extremely thrilled when he found I subscribed to this magazine for him. he honestly reads it cover to cover as soon as it arrives in the mailbox! Anything to get him to read works for me, especially over the summer months!

Is it just me, or do most Circuit City stores have really bad customer service?! Went to the store in Orange today, two cashiers at the customer service desk were the only open cash registers. What a long wait, and there was only two people ahead of me. I always am disappointed when i shop at Circuit City for this very reason. They have a pretty good selection of items and good prices, but the customer service always dissapoints me.

Went to Senor Panchos last night, this is a great place for authentic Mexican food. The service was wonderful. We had two children and a baby with us, and they sat us in a room off to the side where they seemed to sit mostly families with children. They immediately brough each of the children a balloon. They refilled the nacho without us having to ask. They refilled the wonderful salsa (cilantro!) too. The Mango Margarita I had was delicious! And the main courses we all had were very tasty. Senor Panchos is highly recommended!

Beverly Pizza makes a great pizza pie. My favorite is to get lunch from Beverly Pizza with freinds. You can each order a small custom personal pizza with the toppings of your choice. I love to get an assortment of vegetables on my pizzas from beverly pizza. They are located in the heart of Black Rock, you can grab lunch to go and eat some great tasting beverly Pizza at St Mary's by the Sea. I have never had anything other than Pizza from Beverly Pizza, but I can sure recommend the pizza, they are a staple to the Black Rock community.

I don't like the newer Bennigan's Grill & Tavern at the Trumbull Shopping Mall as much as I like the original Bennigan's in Milford. The original Bennigan's in Milford has a better bar in my opinion. This bennigan's in Trumbull has always been crowded every time I have been in there. I have also had a couple of really bad service experiences in Trumbull. I haven't been back to this restaurant since October, so maybe they have improved since then. I would rather visit the other restaurant when shopping at the Trumbull Shopping Mall.

I had the best prime rib in my life pne time at Augustyn's Blue Goose Restaurant in Stratford. This is a great place to have a small office party or family party. the service is always fast and friendly, and the quality of food and recipes offered is great. They have a great selection of dishes, and fairly reasonable prices. There usually is an older crowd dining here in my past experience, not sure if this is usually the case though. I highly recommend the Blue Goose!
