Bhan Kanom Thai literally translates to Thai dessert house. This place satisfies any craving I have for sweets. Many authentic desserts. It is more like a bakery than restaurant although they do make some desserts right in front of you. They have fried bananas and taro sold for $2. Their kanom bah bin is pretty good as well - coconut pancakes usually prepared in front of you. They also have shipped foreign sweets from Thailand.

This is a restaurant that I've been going for over ten years. It has improved a lot over the years. The boat noodles are the best here. There is usually a little wait for a table. While waiting, you can go next door the Thai market or Thai bookstore. Also, there is outdoor seating for smokers. The only downside I would say if the parking (It is very crowded and small). This is typical of Thai Town though, so I am pretty used to it.

Although the parking is hectic sometimes, the food is really yummy. They have lunch specials at around 5-7 dollars. I always get the pad kee mow or the shrimp fried rice. The pad kee mow has three levels of spiciness and I always get the spiciest because I am used to eating whole chilies, but careful because my aunt thought it was too spicy. They have other items like rad naw and pad see eww - both are really good. They also have rice dishes like rice and basil chicken.

This bank is mostly for Chinese people. They are a very traditional bank. A lot of the transactions are still dealt with using old means of ways. I happen to like it. All that new technology stuff with Bof A is a little complicated sometimes. Albeit that BofA has more products to offer, they also have more fees and and less interest rates. East West bank has higher interest rates and keeps it simple. There are not 8 different kinds of checking accounts like BofA.

He is going to give you the best price. They have vans, luxury cars, compact cars, and more. Trust me, local place means better deals.

Sometimes, if you go there and say you're from one of the local schools, they'll give you discount right there. It's a good shop and pretty big. It's no Sportsmart, but they have a lot more variety of mitts than Sportsmart.

This place is pretty nice. It's really cheap which is why I go, but I never try anything on in the store because there are no seperate stalls to dress in. Fashion Q has a big room to dress in, but you see what others try on and they see what you try on. I am conscious of my body so I don't try anything on in there. It's a great place for perverts, but I am okay with just shopping the wide selection of clothes. It's a lot bigger than Forever 21 stores and a lot cheaper. You can find tops there for 10 dollars that you would find for 20 dollars at Forever.

Brandie's is a unique store because you can find Hollister and American Eagle clothes there. It's hard to find because it's sort of hidden. It's easy if know the area, but if not, just park in the shakeys/bank of ameirca plaza and you'll be fine. It's a small store, but there are good finds. It's a lot better than Forever 21 because it's a lot cheaper and less crowded. The only thing is that it's a small mom and pop store so there's not gonna be a wide selection like Forever 21, but where else are you gonna get a Hollister top for 10 bucks?

If you're looking for a cure for any illness, just head here because most likely they'll have some chinese herb that will help. If you're not sick, you can also shop around on the other side of the store. They offer foods from China like snacks and candy. They also have a good selection of tableware and cookware. If you're looking for an eclectic gift, you can buy Chinese clothes or shoes here as well.
