If you have ever doubted the deliciousness of Vegeterian food, go to Orean's. They have the best "fast food" ever and nobody would believe it's vegetarian. They even have a drive-thru window although it usually takes a while because everything is fresh, so it is worth the wait. My favorite is the pastrami sandwich and chili cheese fries. Their fries are actually air fried so they save on fat and the cheese is soy. The only concern is that there's not much seating area and getting the food takes some time.

I first found this place when I got lost. They were having a parking lot sale and I decided to shop around. I'm glad I did because I ended up buying my niece a 3-pc kid's bedroom set (twin bed, nightstand, dresser) for only $299. The only thing was that it the bed was very low (no wonder it was for kids). They had so many sales like a 5 piece dining set for only $99. I wanted to get it, but I had no use for it. Next time I need furniture, I'm definitely coming here.

Located in the Sav-On/Smart-N-Final center, the Shanghai Restaurant offers house specials like walnut shrimp, beef in a basket, and tender scallops in a basket. Although these house specials range from 7.95 to 10.50, they are worth it since the only other places I can find these items are at wedding banquets. They also offer lunch specials with fried rice or chow mein, an egg roll, and choice of one item. These lunch specials range from 4.25 to 4.95. I recommend the Aromatic chicken or three ingredient tastes (shrimp, chicken, and beef). The good thing is that they offer dinner specials and catering. They even offer delivery within a 3 mile zip code.

Careful with the chicken curry though because everytime I get it, the potatoes are raw! They sell it as 2 item combos and 3 item combos or just side orders small or large. If you don't feel like ordering off the line, you can order off the menu which is hidden. I think you have to ask for it. They also offer pre-packaged thai desserts.

I prefer the casual side. The casual side also has seating, but offers a togo express line. You can point at whatever you want and voila, you're set to go. They even have dim sum at a very cheap price. It's not half bad too. The dim sum only costs like a dollar or so. They sell their other items by size - small or large. I'd say eat here if you want something quick and cheap and pretty decent.

This taco joint is in Atlantic Square and quite close to a community college which means it gets pretty busy. They have daily specials. I go on Wednesday and get tacos for a pretty good deal. I know they have other daily specials on Tuesdays too. They are very friendly there although I have never met Paco himself. They have other specials like burritos. I usually stick with the tacos.

So apparently, this is one of the more popular places to eat in town. They have a sports bar with a big screen tv for those sports fans. Their speciality is the chicken. I've tried it, and personally, I'd rather get a whole chicken from Costco for 5 bucks or you can get a portion of that size for about 8 dollars at Baccali's. I find the chicken to be rather dry, but they have a blackened version and a regular one. I've also tried the baked pasta with cream sauce. Ehh..skip that one. If you're going to come here, just get the chicken. Perhaps you'll agree with my friends and think it's delicious.

Although the owner is Thai, this restaurant offers many kinds of Asian cuisine. They offer vietnamese pho, thai fried noodles and soup noodles, chinese dishes, japanese dishes like udon, and many rice dishes. I have personally tried almost everything on the menu. I recommend the teriyaki chicken, yakisoba, and boat noodles. They also offer a slushi bar.

So you might think that this restaurant only offers tofu, but the truth is that they offer a lot more. The restaurant is located on top of Starbucks on Atlantic. I first saw it when I went for a cup of coffee at Starbucks. They have a huge banner outside when you enter the parking structure. The service is okay. Nothing special, but they are not rude either. The cuisine is Asian - chinese to be exact. I tried something that didn't have tofu and it was okay. My guess is that the tofu items on the menu are probably better hence the name.

Although I have come across many who hate miniature golfing, I love it. Golfland is filled with childhood memories. All throughout high school, my friends and I would always go to the movies or shopping, but once we ran out of things to do, there was always Golfland. Golfland is right off the 60 freeway, next to McDonald's. The golf course doesn't have those elaborate clown mouths where your ball never gets through, but they do have a win another round of golf if make a hole in one in the last obstacle. There is also an arcade where you can play your brains out. All in all, this place is pretty great if you run out of things to do.
