If you want REALLY GOOD lebanese/greek food - you have to visit Chicken Char. It's a VERY tiny restaurant in an almost empty little shopping strip on Peoria. I think there's only like 2 or 3 employees, and about 6 tables. The chicken is extremely good, very juicy, it just falls off the bone. The tabouli is fresh, you can tell it's made from scratch. They have reasonably priced dinners that come with sides and rolls.
The only problem is that you might want to get it to go if you are entertaining someone... because the dining room is a little run-down looking (it's an old Tulsa restaurant). It has old tables/chairs, and napkins that people have drawn/autographed pinned to the walls. It's just not an environment I would take friends to dine in. BUT I order to go all the time and enjoy it at home.
AND DON'T FORGET THE BAKLAVA!!!

I have not had a very good experience with Love A Pet in Broken Arrow. My parents bought my new puppy a few items, incuding a hardback book ($17.95) about this breed. Well, my daughter had already bought one, so I went to take the new one back to Love A Pet. I was told that even though I have the receipt, I couldn't return it - that it's their policy not to return books - even though it was bought 12 hours earlier and the spine wasn't even cracked. So I asked him how is someone to know that before they buy it - he (the manager) said that it was posted by the books. So I looked by the books, NO SIGN. When I pointed this out to him, he said "I'm sorry ma'am but we are not going to refund that book, it's our policy." I also noticed that on the receipt it said "No refunds of any kind on live animals after 3 days". Nothing about books. So I wrote the owner a letter explaining this to him, and left my phone number to call me.
I don't know if the manager "misplaced" the letter or the owner doesn't care - but I never got a call and am stuck with a $20 book that I already have.
I don't think that is very good business practice, and the manager was very unprofessional. I will never again take my business to Love A Pet. Not to mention their prices are high, and the puppies have 3'x3' cages that are filled with poo everytime I've been there.
See my other post about Southern Ag - I would recommend going there instead (there is one in Broken Arrow also).

If you need something for your pet, Southern Ag has it. The prices are decent, and their food/medicine/supplies are good quality. The best thing is that the people that work there are very knowledgeable on pet care. If they don't know, they will call someone that does. The store also carries live animals.... reptiles, crabs, hamsters, fish, and insects for food. They have a low-cost vaccination clinic everyday of the week at different locations (call for which days are where). The vaccinations range from $9-13 and no office fee!! You also get a FREE month's dosage of Hearguard with your new puppy's shots. The vet also can see your animal with an appointment for mild sickness.... you'll have to go to a full service vet if it's moderate-severe. If you think your pet has worms, bring a stool sample to them anytime and they do a stool check with no office fee!!!

Plato's Closet is at the corner of 71st/Garnett next to Drug Warehouse. this is a teen clothing re-sale store.I barely even noticed it there, but when I went inside I was really impressed. Most clothing re-sale stores are a little ... um.. garage-sale-ish.... but this one is very neat, clean, and everything is organized.
If you are buying -They have things sorted by size, item, and even colors! It's easy to find what you are looking for. They also must be picky about what clothes they accept, because alot of things look close to new. The prices are OK, some name brand stuff is more pricey.
If you are selling - Instead of consigning your clothes and having to wait for a check, they pay cash on the spot. They pay a decent amount if the clothes are in good condition. I think the sizes they take are girls 12-16 and all juniors sizes. They may even take petite women's, but it is geared toward teen sizes.

This is my favorite restaurant in Tulsa, I have been there probably more than 50 times and it is great every time. If you are with friends, there is a casual bar/sports bar area. If your with the family, there is a more subtle quiet area to eat. The food is excellent, have never been disappointed - the SPINACH DIP is AWESOME. The waiters are always friendly and the evening dinner wait is not bad. Even if you do have to wait, there is a courtyard to relax. Prices are very affordable, and portions are large. I recommend Cheddars to anyone.

I am not sure exactly what type of cake, or how classy you are wanting to be - but if you want to save money, WalMart does a decent job on their wedding cakes. They have either 1, 2 or 3 tier and have many flavors and designs to choose from. My sister had a very small, family wedding and didn't want to spend $400+ on a cake - so it was perfect for her. You also don't have to order months in advance... I think all they require is 3-4 weeks. Good luck!
