My husband and I walked into Clothes MInded while we were walking around Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. I was attracted by their huge "Everything $15" sign and thought I might get something cheap there. I had to say they carry cute slacks for cheap. The selection in the front of the store was pretty good but once you start to go to the back of the store, the clothes became less cute and more suited for teenagers. The staff were pretty nice and polite. I ended up buying these cute red pants and a pair of black slacks for $15 each. The only drawback is that the material is not the greatest, but if you're looking for something cute to wear and doesn't mind the materials, you should try the store out! I heard there are nice locations in LA alone!

My husband bought a spa package for me for my birthday which included an hour massage, a deep facial, and a manicure. He found a great deal at spaaddict.com where he paid only $190 for the package. On the day of my spa visit, I was 10 minutes late to my massage and the masseus only gave me a 50 min massage to compensate for my tardiness. The massage was only so-so but the facial was GREAT! The lady asked if i wanted extractions and I said yes. She cleaned my whole face and none of the extractions even hurt! The facial was wonderful! I'm hooked!

My husband and I went to see the play "Tartuffe" that was playing at the Actor's Gang Theatre in Los Angeles. We paid about $25 each for the tickets and I have to say we both walked out very satisfied. The theater setting is very small but very intimate. The cast did an excellent job. The play was captivating and humorous. Every actor and actress clearly put out great efforts and it shows. Try it out!

My husband loves to read but I wasn't until he influenced me to pick up this great passion of his. One Sunday afternoon, we decided to dedicate a day to go into a bookstore and stay there for a couple of hours reading books and buying the ones we like. We went to the website and found Acres of Books and it attracted us to go for a visit because it is the largest used bookstore in California. When we arrived there, I was a bit disappointed because the bookstore looked somewhat rundown and the categorization wasn't very clear. But after a couple of hours of manuevering I got the hang of it and actually bought quite a few books. If you're looking for a huge selection of used books, Acres of Books should definitely be one of the first places you should to go.
