This car wash place is great! You first drive through and get free vacuuming. Although you have to do it yourself, you can stay there and vacuum every spot of your car for as long as you want. Then you go through the car wash and when you come out, there are two men always there ready to wipe your car real dry and clean. Never a spot dirty or wet! All this for only $6!

This place is one of the best manicure and pedicure places I've ever gone. The place looks alittle dingy but the outcome is great. My pedicure usually lasts for about two weeks but everytime I visit them, my pedicure lasts for more than two months! I'm so amazed at how thorough and detailed they are with my nails and toes whenever I go there! I am now a frequent customer!

I told the owner specifically that I wanted them to hem 1 1/2 inches off my dress and dry clean it well because I will be wearing that gown for my wedding. When my husband and I went to pick it up, the tab came up to $80! We were overwhelmed at the high price but that wasn't why we were mad. When we got home, I tried the dress on with my heels on to make sure that the length was correct. When I put on the dress, there was this huge black stainon both sides of the dress! I looked at it in horror and went back immediately to have them redo it. The owners were extremely rude to me and accused me of staining the dress myself! They refused to reclean it for me. I stormed out of that place and vowed never to go there again.

I like Nick's Shell Gas Station because you can't beat the $13.95 oil change price! The staff there are friendly and they will change your oil within 20 minutes. I was so satisfied with their service that I had both my transmission oil change and my battery changed there. They charged me a really good price and made my commute so much more pleasant.

I started a new job and wanted to see a doctor for my yeast infection. Since my work commute is so horrible, I decided to see a doctor that was closer to my work place. Anyhow I found Dr. Minkus from the Blue Cross Directory and found my experience there very disappointing. When I called to make my appointment, the receptionist was rude to me. Her customer service skills were horrible. When I arrived to the office for my appointment, Dr. Minkus was almost 2 HOURS late! I was so furious that I went up to ask the receptionist two times what was taking him so long. When Dr. Minkus finally came to see me, he asked me minimal questions and did not even give me a check up because he claimed that, "I am not going to give you an exam because you are wearing a dress and I don't want you to go through with the hassle." I walked out of the office furious! DO NOT SEE HIM!

My hair is very dry and damaged from all the coloring and straightening processes I have done in the past and I needed some good deep conditioner badly. I walked into Lisa's Beauty to get some advice on what the best products for my hair would be. I walked in there and was immediately greeted by a salesperson who was very enthusiastic about helping me. Although I found her enthusiam great, I thought she was way too pushy. I asked her a few questions and by the third question she sounded very impatient. She recommended about four hair products for my condition and when I only bought two of the four, she didn't look satisfied.

I needed to get my nails done for my wedding and since I'm new to Los Angeles, I decided to just go to any nail store around my house and give it a shot. I mean how bad can it be right? I walked into Chau Minh Ngoc Nails at 6pm on a Thursday night andthey were packed. I received a french manicure and french pedicure for $22. They asked if I wanted a hand and foot massage and because I was tired I said yes. Each massage costs $10 so my total bill came to $42. They did an ok job but I was most impressed with the lady that did my eyebrows. The eyebrow wax only cost $7 and she did an amazing job. Although I wasn't too thrilled about my nails, I was very impressed with my eyebrows.

My husband and I went to Star Nail and Beauty Salon over the weekend because my husband needed a haircut and I wanted to get a manicure and pedicure. My husband told the hair stylist that he wanted to cut an inch and a half but the barber ended up shaving almost all of his hair! He was very nice about it and explained to my husband that the next time he gets a haircut, my husband should tell him to use the scissors instead of the razor. Although my husband wasn't too psyched about the haircut, he thought the barber was rather nice. I, on the other hand, liked my manicure and pedicure. My husband and I plan to go back and try again because the staff there were friendly and you can't beat a $8 haircut and a $15 manicure and pedicure!

Can you believe that there are still barbarshops that charge $10 for haircuts?!?! Sistas is a great hole in the wall salon. My husband and I walked in there without an appointment and my husband got a haircut for only $10! The lady that cut his hair spent almost an hour on his short hairstyle and it only cost us $10! She even took the time to gel my husband's hair and at the end even taught him how to style his hair in the mornings!
