If you have struggled like I have to learn how to play the guitar, Will Vukin is the perfect instructor for you. Teaching out of his home in North Ballard, Will has a unique ability to keep a beginning guitar student on the right path to playing and playing well.
I've taken lessons from several different instructors and Will is simply the best. He teaches all levels and all styles, everything from fingerpicking and flatpicking to folk, roots, blues and classic rock.
Even when I do not have time to practice in between lessons, I find the time spent with Will each week propels me forward, rather than leaving me frustrated.

With Peggy's help, we found and purchased our home near Greenlake in less than one week. Although she lists houses for sale, I belive her real skill is finding exactly what you want, and although she covers the Seattle are, I think she is best finding homes north of the Ship Canal (such areas as Wallingford, Fremont, Ballard, University District, Greenlake, Greenwood, Maple Leaf, Shoreline, etc.). We have referred her to a half dozen or so friends, all of whom have been very satisfied with her services and have found their dream homes within two weeks. Peggy takes clients by referral only, so please feel free to use my name.

After having lived in Austin, Texas for three years in the mid-90s, I had given up hope on finding an authentic Mexican restaurant in Seattle. No disrespect intended for such fine establishments as El Camino, Mojito's and Aqua Verde, to name a few, but none of these deliver the real deal.
Everything on the menu is fantastic - the papitas, the mole, and pozole.
Large family-style tables at restaurants seem to be catching on - another wonderful aspect of the dining experience at La Carta. The word is getting out, so be prepared to wait.
