I have been to Mitchell's on a few occasions and have yet to be disappointed. The staff is prompt and courteous, providing a high level of guest service. The food is extremely good and is sold at a fair price for the quality you recieve. If you are looking for a great place to get some seafood in the Lansing area, make the trip out to Mitchell's - you won't be disappointed.

I was referred to LPA after a terrible experience I had with the MSU Counseling Center. At first, I wasn't sure whether this would be more of the same. I had never gone to a psychologist before, mostly out of fear and denial of my problems. However, Dr. David Brown at Lansing Psychological Associates helped alleviate any concerns when I first met him.
He cares about helping me and has an incredible "bed-side" demeanor. He was able to relate to me very well and help me deal with a lot of the problems I have been facing. When talking to my parents, he honored my request to keep the discussion focused on diagnostic/clinical issues only, not what I told him in confidence.
The staff is very friendly and easy to deal with, and they work well with insurance providers - taking care of most of the paperwork.
Overall, I would highly recommend LPA to anyone looking for help conquering the problems that prevent them from living a completely full life.

Panchero's makes a wicked burrito - the regular one is massive, the "El Gordo" is almost a pound. They seriously eat like a meal. The help, while they don't speak the greatest English, are quick and efficient and get you in and out.
Highly recommended for lunch, dinner, or the late night snack after the bar.

Took my car there to have them take a look at a light that came up after I had gotten brake work done at the Rochester one - turns out that the work they did was fine, my ABS computer was spitting out a random code - However, they were cool enough to tell me the exact code it was giving me, so that I can snoop around and find out what sort of thing can cause that. No high pressure sales, no gimmicks.
The location has a wall covered in customer letters, and I can see why - these guys are quick and professional. Highly recommended.

After being accused of overdrafting my account and threatened with damage to my credit over a mistake that was Bank One's fault (they eventually apologized and fixed the error), it was time for a new place to put my money. Because I am an MSU student, I chose MSUFCU for the convienience and because of my parent's good experiences there. I have never regretted my decision. Very few hidden fees, good online banking, easy access to money and great banking options for students - If you live in East Lansing and qualify for membership, there is no reason not to join.

Catching a game at Oldsmobile Park is a relaxing, family friendly way to spend a summer afternoon or evening. The tickets are reasonable, parking is close, the players seem to actually care about each game (considering they are trying to move up in the minors towards the major leagues) and they have some fun promotions.
Thursday nights feature extremely cheap beer, mixing two American traditions into one.
Overall, I'd highly recommend checking them out if you get the chance.

This place is perfect for those late late night cravings - you can get pizza delivered until 4 AM - yes, you read right. I have enjoyed Bell's on many occasions after a party and it hits the spot, especially whilst inebriated. The pizza is also dirt cheap - another bonus.

What can I say? FBC has been around for over 25 years, has a ridiculously large selection of used CDs and vinyl and the staff actually knows a lot about the music they sell - you won't find some...

FBC has been around for over 25 years, has a ridiculously large selection of used CDs and vinyl and the staff actually knows a lot about the music they sell - you won't find some uninterested 16 year old behind the counter but rather someone who is passionate about music and can help.
Their prices are very fair and they are a local, independent record shop. If you are looking for a place to pick up stuff for your collection, this is the only serious choice.

El Azteco is one of the older establishments in the ever-changing East Lansing landscape and is a solid place to eat if you are looking for some good Mexican. From the house special taco chips and locally made salsas that will make your mouth water to the wide assortment of Mexican favorites, the food is spectacular. They also have a decent alcoholic beverage selection for those looking for a good beer with their tacos. Also, their prices are fairly reasonable for the amount/quality of food you recieve.
The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that their wait-staff can be a little off at times, but they are usually pretty good and it doesn't really detract from the experience.
Overall, I highly recommend El Az for its food and old school atmosphere.
