Melody Record Shop is a frustrating store. They have a really great selection of all kinds of music. Unfortunately, the cds tend to cost upwards of seventeen dollars. So while they have everything you want, you feel ripped off if you buy it. If they would make their prices reasonable it would be a perfect cd store.

This video store is huge, huge, huge. I am willing to bet that you couldn't possibly think of a movie that you couldn't find at Scarecrow Video. It has the largest selection of any video store I've ever seen. Also there is a shelf of staff picks. The staff at Scarecrow has really great taste so I highly recommend checking out that shelf.

The best locally owned cd store in Seattle and one of the best anywhere. This is a perfect example of why locally owned cd stores are almost always better than chains.

Chuck Levin may have passed away but his legacy lives on through his great store. Chuck Levin's Washington Music Store is right off the Red-Line Metro and is awesome. Great selection, great prices, great staff and you can play anything. Also, you get to go up the longest escalator I've ever seen coming out of the Wheaton Metro station.
