This is an old-school camera shop. They develop great pictures, but if you drop them off one minute late they won't accept them. You have to be on the ball with these people. But once they get your film they do a great job. Also, they are very helpful when you are buying a camera. They also gave me great advice on where to find a photo lab I could rent out for personal use.

They have a lot of high-end stuff but they also have some good sales. It can be a good place to get nice stereo components at a bargain if you go there at the right time.

They try to sweet talk you into buying stuff you don't need. But as far as the selection goes it is good. A good place to look when shopping around for the best price.

I have had my stereo repaired at Paragon and they did a great job for a fair price. I've always found their employees to know what they're talking about and to be very friendly and helpful.

Soulman is another of my favorite shoe stores in Madison. They have a great selection of cool shoes and are willing to order pretty much anything you need or want. The service is perfect and the location right on State Street can't be beat. I would definitely check this store out to see what new stuff they have in before buying shoes elsewhere.

I would not recommend shopping at the Newsroom. The store does have a great selection of newspapers and Magazines from all over the world in almost any language but the owner employs only recent immigrants. He pays them next to nothing and treats his employees badly. Go to this store and tell the owner you will start supporting him when he starts treating his employees better.

Olsson's Books are some of the best bookstores in the DC area. My favorite location is the Dupont Circle one. They have an awesome selection of new books and CDs. You can also buy concert tickets for local show at Olsson's. The staff is great. But the highlight of the store is the great, immense stock of books.
