Coachs is located in a shopping center off of the Appian Way exit in Pinole. They have a huge a lot of parking spaces so you don't have to worry about finding one. The service is good but the live music is what puts Coach's on the map. I was in the parking one night with a buddy chatting and we heard the live music playing and it was awesome. So we decided to check it out so we went in sat down and had a few drinks. I would definitely go back to Coach's when I get more free time again. Good place, good music, and good times!

Classic Billiards is located on 4th st., one of the busiest and livest streets in San Rafael. Parking during the day is tough but late hours its easier to find a space on the street and you dont have to pay the meter. Service is good and they have a waitress in the evenings. They also have a huge big screen T.V. downstairs to watch a game while your hitting some balls in. They dont have a full size bar but they do serve beer. Hourly charges for a table is reasonable and they sell billiard accessories too. By the way you can rent good cues also instead of the house sticks they have available.

Brentwood Bowl is lcoated right on El Camino Real a block or two away from Tanforan Mall. They have parking spaces available in the rear and you can't miss the place with the huge sign on the wall of it. I've been here so many times when I was younger and it hasn't changed much since my last visit. The lanes are descent and the prices are reasonable. Service is good at the counter but it's not much of a social place to meet people. I like the place because it's really clean and they have video games for the kids too.

Blakes is one of the well known places out here in Berkeley and throughout the bay area. They have live bands playing here usually on the weekends and its packed with a good crowd. Blakes is a couple blocks away from UCB so you know it'll be packed with a lot of students that attend the college. Service is good but parking sucks unless you want to pay at the garage a block down. I've been here a couple of times and I would highly reccomend the place for a night out.

They have a wide variety of sporting goods and they're staff can help you find anything in the store. Public parking is available in front of the store and the freeway is not too far from the place. Prices are ok but I usually shop around before I make a final purchase.

The Broken Rack is located across the street from the movie theatre and food market. They have an indoor smoking lounge and a private VIP room available too. They also have a couple snooker tables if you play that. Good Brunswick tables and good house sticks if you don't have your own cue. Service is great but the place doesn't get poppin untill the night scene and on weekends. I would recommend this place if your ever in the East Bay.

Price per hour is good compared to other pool halls around the area. Service is ok and the do have waitresses at night. They don't have a bar but they do serve beer. They have tounaments here every month so this is a place to make some money if your a shark.

Thallasa is a great place to kick back on the sofas and have a few drinks or to get a few games of pool. Thallasa is a pool hall located on Sattuck Ave which is one of the busiest streets with a bunch of shopping stores around. Parking is a bit hard to find at times. They have a few tables in the front when you walk in but they have tons more in the back. Don't be fooled! A lot of UCB students go here so its pretty busy.

Seriously! If you love reptiles this is the place you want to check out. They have some of the rarest animals you can find compared to regular pet shops like Pets Mart. I used to buy my crickets here when I had a Chameleon. I didn't know how to take care of it so it died. The East Bay Vivarium is staffed with very knowledgeable individuals and the service is great. Parking isn't too good though.
