Well almost anything and everything. Emerybille Public Market is one of the places to go if your uncertain of what to eat for lunch or dinner. They have a variety of ethnic foods for you to choose from. I've tried they're Chinese, Korean, Thai, Indian, Italian, Mexican, and even there cheese steak sandwhich place. I've gone here a hundred times even just to get some sorbet ice cream. I shoot pool next door at the Broken Rack so this is really convenient for me.

Gypsy's Trattoria Italiano is located on Durant in Berkeley. This place is storming with UCB students which keeps this place in good business. I've been here several of times and theres always a line. The service is good though and pretty quick to pick up your order and fill it. The food on the other hand is ok and not the best. But the quantity is massive! They give you enough food to serve two people on one order. Oh parking is a pain so good luck.

Daimo is located near Ranch 99 market. It's actually in the same shopping center so they have plenty of parking spaces. The food here is very good and the prices are not bad either. It's a pretty big restaurant and the tables seem a little too close together for me.The lighting is pretty bright which I think should be a little lower to make it more dramatic instead of feeling like your eating at an Asian market. Good food, good price, and the service/staff is ok and smiles all the time.

Phuping Thai Cuisine is located in East Mall off of the Central exit. Parking is tough if you come in the afternoon but the wait isn't that long to find a space. It's not too busy here either I guess because of the competition of restaurants surrounding. The food is great here though and service too. The staff is costumed in Thai clothing which makes is more Asian feeling. The place is decorated niceley and they have music playing in the background. The only thing that bothers me is I always look for more on the plate. For the price you pay, there should be more. Good food.. ok price. Tummy still satisfied.

This is a Philippine specialized bakery located in San Pable next to San Pablo Supermarket. It's a small store but they usually have what I want when I go there. The service is good and fast. Parking is always available and it's located pretty close to the freeway. Heres a tip if you ever go there, find what you want on the shelf and ask them if they have some just baked out of the oven. They will gladly make a bag for you of some freshly baked bread steaming from the oven. Service there is awesome.

Tachikawa is located in Pinole not too far from the freeway. The food is good but only wished for more for the price you pay. The service is ok and sometimes under staff. I think they are under new management and have not yet gone in ever since previous management. There is a restaurant next door that I regularly go to and I see more and more people going into Tachikawa so I'm assuming it's better now. Good food from my experience so I'll give it 3 stars.

Yes thats right! At a theatre too! Parkwa Theater is one of the coolest theatres here in the bay area. One of the only places that serves pizza and beer while you watch a movie. Althought they have select movies and not many showtimes this place is a great place for a date or just to kick it with the buddies. The service couldn't be any better and always have a smile on they're face. Parking.. well you better be there early to find a good spot or you'll have a little walking distance which still isn't that bad. I would highly reccommend a visit to this place and trust me, you'll love it! Movie, Pub, and Pizza all in one place and you dont have to clean up!

Oakland Museum of California is like a 3 level building with an additional area for special events. I've been here twice already and enjoyed both times I was there. The first visit they had a special showing of "The Lost City of China" where they had pictures, clothing, and items from the ancient Chinese dynasty. It truly was amazing to see such historic value show cased to the public for a small fee. They also supplied head sets that explained each show case which was great. You can wander off and don't have to stick with a group. The second visit was for school which I had to stay on one level at the museum. It was where they had the various animals and species around California. This is a place you have to visit if your ever in Oakland.

This place has almost all of your photography needs located on Telegraph in Berkeley. I used to purchase my Black and White darkroom supplies here up until I started using digital formats. I was always happy with the on stock merchandise and superb customer service they offered here. The staff are very knowledgeable and will help you and answer any quesitions you have. You can also rent supplies from here. They offer lenses and lighting equipment for rent at reasnobale prices. It does get busy here thought because its close to UCB and the students there know about the reputation this place has.

Oh boy this place called Teeter's Sportsbar & Grill located in Vallejo is one place you have to visit. You can see it off of the freeway and you can't miss it. They have parking spaces available in front but it gets packed on the weekends and weeknights. They have a good crowd coming in here as long as you have a good attitude you'll be ok. I go here to play pool because they have 5 pool tables and a bunch of hustlers! Yep 5 pool tables in this bar. 3 bar tables and 2 regulation tables. You can always get a game for fun or make a few bucks if you know what your doing. Good place to visit if your in the area.
