My daughter recently got into skateboarding and OKC Skateboarding Company has everything you would need. It is her new favorite place to shop and I have to say that the people who work there are very helpful as I know absolutely nothing about skateboarding or equipment. I definitely give them 4 stars!

It is such a great ride during the summer (Particularly during Independence Day Festivities). I would definitely recommend it to friends and have taken many out of town guests for a ride!!!

Whittaker's used to be a good place to go for your groceries in Oklahoma City. The only cons to it are that there is just one (that I know of) and man does it need a facelift! This use to be a decent looking place. I think sometimes the cover of the book is what keeps you from wanting to look inside or not. Also, it "breeds" the type of clientell you will receive. This store has evolved both in looks and in the type of people who go there and live in the area. Whittaker's is the type of place that could make or break the surrounding community. It has come to the point where I can no longer shop there.

Epperson Photo has some the best supplies you could ever need for your camera, tripod,etc. My sister looked all over Tulsa and Oklahoma City a few years ago for a docking station for her digital camera. She had a few days left to finish some work for her high school project. Alot was weighing on this job. I had always heard about Epperson on T.V. and in the papers, so I just blindly suggested them for their popular name. These guys are awesome!! Not only did they find exactly what she needed they showed her how to use it, and helped get the project done. They have some of the friendliest employees and a wealth of knowledge in their products! They also do service on your broken cameras new or old. I won't use any lesser store for my photo equipment ever again.

The Velvet Monkey is a small colorful store in an artsy part of town. It is based just doors down from
Oklahoma City University. They have a huge selection of new and used clothing from now and a long time ago. Their stock seems to range from 1920's style "shaker girl" skirts to some of the newest "punk" material. It doesn't matter who you are it seems that there is something there for eveyone. You'd just have to see for yourself. I love this place! I see something new on the shelves everytime I go in!
