The 5 rooms in this B&B are all cozy, with excellent bedding and specially made soaps. The honeymoon suite, along with a smaller lower suite, looks out over the large backyard rimmed with a boardwalk. The river is available for boating from the backyard dock. If you’d rather swim in a pool, there is one too, with tubes and a pool lounger floating in it. This is a great getaway with pleasant staff.

When you walk in, there is a big glass window where you can see the cheese being manually stirred. In the back, there is a glass frig where the cheeses of all types are being aged. They don’t do samples. If you want to try it, you’ve got to buy it and the smallest portion they will sell is ¼ pound. However, it’s certainly worth trying since most of their cheeses are award-winning.

I found this shop close to when it had first opened and the sheer space of the store was incredible! There were isles and isles of stickers ranging from military to animals to holidays to letters to…you name it! Then there were stamps and papers (oh so many isles and selections of paper backgrounds to boggle the mind!), scissors and glues,…if you can’t find what you are looking for here, it doesn’t exist!

The rooms look out onto a tree-lined street and are in buildings restored to their historic Victorian styles. The fancy bedding, in-room breakfast, and night time desserts make it a great romantic getaway. Don’t have a cable or need silverware? Just ask! The staff was willing to help with everything, including bringing me a DSL cable! And the spa tubs…actual Jacuzzi-brand tubs, soooo good! The beds were a little stiff, but more pillows helped.

One of my favorite stores in Provincetown! The 2 women running the store always has a good selection of interesting items, from jewelry to music to books to tiles. I love the tiles especially as gifts, but the last time I was there, their selection of women’s music was actually wider than most stores I have seen anywhere.

This gay-owned, gay-run B&B was beautifully decorated and a sense of peace filled us the minute we stepped foot inside the house. Quiet music was playing in the background. All rooms included a radio and its own peaceful music. There was a beverage bar in the hallway offering all the OJ, apple juice, Perrier, or Crystal Geyser bottled water one could want. The community spa tub, available by appt, was a little small but nice.

Though it names itself a crab and prime rib house, I would not call it either. The prime rib I ordered medium came well-done and the crab cakes, though good sized, did not strike me with the flavor nor look of fresh crab. The prices were definitely higher than the quality warranted. However, the view and service was very nice and the restaurant did have a cozy atmosphere.

If you are looking for a cheap diner experience, this is it. Huge portions of pancakes, omelettes, hash browns, cakes, and pies. None of it outstanding, but definitely more than huge portions for a good price. A place for families or by yourself. During the day, you smell their BBQ, but after having ordered their BBQ, I must say I was disappointed with how watery and runny the BBQ sauce was.
