This is a consignment clothing store I have been visiting for over 10 years and I still find items of clothing worth getting everytime. They have yellow, blue, red, orange, and purple sticker days, all signifying specials in which you can get an additional price off for the clothing with those stickers.

The store sign says “scrapbook supplies, custom framing, film, batteries” and I admittedly mostly visited the store for the possible scrapbook supplies. There was a decent supply and selection of cutouts, papers, and stickers, especially some Big Bear Lake cutouts. The variety wasn’t great but it was adequate. I would definitely recommend a scrapbooker to this store to get local cutouts and stickers.

However, beware that the price tag on a lot of the items are not cheap so be prepared to be told that if you ask the price, you can’t afford it.

There are embossing materials, woodworking materials, stickers and cutouts galore, paper galore, and still a whole big station for classes to be taught and students to do actual scrapbooking in the store.

However, for a small pharmacy in a small town, it has a great selection of items ranging from beauty products to drugs to soaps and lotions. Clearly Canada Peppermint foot lotion is one of the rare items that can be found here in both large and small sizes.

The rooms are a little small and the beds and sheets aren’t the most comfortable, but the inner courtyard is a great place for a stroll. It’s quiet and gives the feeling of seclusion, away from the busy city. They also serve a buffet breakfast.

They have quite a few themed rooms and quite a few of those have waterfall showers, which is a fake rock-lined shower with the nozzle shooting onto the rock to fall down onto you. Goto the main restaurant and check out the bathrooms and phone booths too.

They have 3 trains going throughout a day and I would definitely recommend going for the steam engine for that good old traditional “whoo-whoo!” sound. The tickets are slightly expensive, but it’s a nice ride. There is also a train singer that comes around during the scenic ride and plays those campfire train songs we all know like “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad.”
