quantity doesn't equal quality

cheescake factory is straight up gross. i don't get it. they have this HUGE menu and they serve HUGE portions and it has always been bad. the good things i have had are the catfish and the artichoke appetizer. but when those are out of season, there is nothing here for me.
i sincerely don't understand why this place is so obnoxiously popular and crowded. i think the overwhelming amount of food they give you must make people feel like they are getting away with something.
