I had really crazy slow service here the one time I went, but a manager noticed and took care of things, which was nice. I had a really nice seared ahi dish (salad). It was good, but nothing that is very different from other seared ahi dishes I have had.
Seems a little crowded most of the time, but I havne't tried to eat here a lot. We waited for a short while in the middle of the week for lunch.

i sincerely don't understand why this place is so obnoxiously popular and crowded. i think the overwhelming amount of food they give you must make people feel like they are getting away with something.

To be fair, I've had a lot of Maggiano's catering for events, both at the restaurant and off-site. So maybe there is a difference with just a single meal (only had a normal meal once and I don't remember what it was like).
I found everything to be fairly ordinary. They had HUGE amounts of meat for their meat dishes. I had pretty good salmon once. The bread is good. But so is most bread everywhere.
I've also had the chance to drink a lot of their wine and found it to taste nice and flow freely.
The servers are really nice whenever I have been there.

Someone else said the fish here is dry, and I fully agree. I've been here a few times thinking that things would change because everyone seems to love it here. I just found the flavor to be completely mediocre at best. You know a seafood place is bad when you leave the fish and eat all the sides.
I also got a little sick here once. Not full blown food poisoning, but enough badness to make me avoid repeat visits.

The servers and bartenders were rude when I was there. It seemed like one of those places where I wasn't fancy enough to deserve good service. I went in willing to plunk down a lot of money on drinks. I ended up getting a little sangria and leaving no tip. They did that thing where they just refuse to meet your eye and serve everyone around you.
Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I don't think it's worth the cost and going to the Block to try again.

I think this is an advantage for a sushi place because the fish is fresh and always being served up. It seems that there sushi is also really large. I know that large doesn't equal good when it comes to sushi, but quantity makes me happy.
Besides sushi they have the Beni-hana style cook at your table thing going on. That is tasty too, if you are into that kind of thing.

The only small coffee shop there that is now a Planet Hollywood coffee shop is extremely expensive. Like, $12 for eggs. On the up side, Aladdin is next to Paris so it's an easy walk to their buffet for breakfast.
There are a ton of stores here, which is ok. I've also been to the Creole style restaurant here, which was fancy and delicious. THey have this awesome soup sampler which I recommend. I don't remember the name of the place.

And everything is made with health in mind. The nutritional content is given for everything, and the breakdown is incredibly good for this kind of food.
To be honest, sometimes I wonder if it is accurate since it is so good.
We like the Garlic Shrimp and Garlic Chicken, the Bean Curd Soup, all the chow mein noodles are made with egg whites, so they are healthy and tasty.
Overall just really fresh and tasty for reasonable prices and nice service.

They have really great daily specials. The lemonade is tasty depending on which part of the batch you get. Good for all meals of the day.
There is a bar, I've never been. It seems odd in this location, but whatever.

There is a nice selection of wine and beer, which all goes well with the shrimp.
You will get messy.
Parking is bad and it seems like this is a dive, but it's very popular and well known.
