Florentine is a nice, private Italian restaurant that serves the usual pasta, chicken, and seafood dishes. When I first visited this eatery, I ordered an pasta and a seafood appetizer. Florentine's pasta is about average, but their lasagna is surprisingly good. At the end of the meal, I was shown a large dessert menu, consisting of numerous cheesecakes. Be sure to try one of their desserts.
What I liked about this restaurant is that it is very private and enclosed. Florentine's is built in the middle of two other stores at the corner of a building, so the entrance is small and it's hard to find.

There was a long wait before I was seated at Fontana's because of the amount of people eating. When I was seated, the waiter promptly served me with bread, water, and gave me a menu. I decided to get a seafood Italian entrée today, and ordered the scallop with angel hair pasta. When my order came, I found that the presentation was quite pleasant, and that the pasta was delicious. They had prepared the scallops with a bit of green pesto and olive oil, and I found that the pasta and scallop made an excellent combination.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone who is willing to pay a few extra bucks for a first-rate meal.

On the last night of my vacation in Hawaii, I decided to eat dinner at a small grill off Kaumualii Highway. Paradise Seafood and Grill seated me at one of their outdoor tables, and I ordered fish and chips. The salad and soup for my friends and me took much too long to reach us, and the waitress seemed confused of who to serve. We waited another twenty minutes, anxiously pondering about our flight, when finally, the food came. My friend's steak was horribly cooked, and it was obviously a very cheap slice of meat. The fish I received was the worst fish I'd ever tasted. It was as tough as the steak. I asked for the bill and told the server that I was in a hurry, but she continued talking to me, and afterward, it took her five minutes to get bill. There were pricing errors on the bill, and the waitress rudely denied the mistakes, even though they were very apparent.
Bottom line: The food was horrible, the service was unacceptable, the servers were untrained and unfriendly, and the food did not match with the prices. I don't recommend this "restaurant" to anyone.

Black Angus is a family-oriented restaurant located in the Silicon Valley, focusing their menu mostly on steaks. After eating there a couple of times, I concluded that this restaurant was actually quite unpleasant. Steaks are not cooked to your preference, and side items are often burned. The food quality definitely does not match up with the prices. Don't come to this restaurant if you're looking for a quality, romantic meal. This steakhouse is mostly for kids who can't tell the difference between a good and bad meal.

Fry's Electronics is the best electronics retail store I've ever been to. They have an enormous selection of all electronics, including computers, laptops, computer games, computer accessories, hard drives, music, stereos, washing and drying machines, refrigerators, and so much more. All these items come at such a low price, you won't believe it. Many bargain price items require you to fill out a rebate form, but it's definitely worth it. I recommend this store to all electronics geeks. Be sure not to go anywhere else until you've tried Fry's.

Roy's Bar and Grill is a very fancy restaurant, oriented to wealthy vacationers and business travelers. This restaurant offers an extensive selection of alcohols at the bar and on the wine menu. Entrées come with breathtaking presentation, but the portions are quite small. Appetizers are very tasty, but they come at a high price as well. Be sure to try one of their fish entrées, and don't miss out on their chocolate-raspberry soufflé. Roy's menu changes every day, so don't be surprised if you can't find what you're looking for.

In-N-Out is a fast food restaurant only located in California and Nevada. This rare chain is much better than national chains, like McDonald's, KFC, Taco Bell, and Burger King. Unlike those fast foods which freeze dry everything and then add hot water, all food at In-N-Out is freshly prepared. Nothing on the menu is frozen (there are no freezers in the store), and the potatoes are peeled, cut and fried right before your eyes. Tomatoes, lettuce, and onions are freshly cut and prepared, along with toasted sponge bread and grilled meat. Their shakes are actually made from milk and ice cream, unlike the syrup mixes and other fast foods. All this preparation seems expensive, but in reality, menu prices are only about 30 cents more expensive than McDonald's- and the taste is AMAZING.

Keoki's Grill has a great atmosphere for people on vacation, and the food is great. The restaurant offers endless choices of seafood, ranging from grilled Ahi, to seared Ono, and to seafood pasta. They also serve steaks and chicken, but if you come to Keoki's, the fish is your best bet. The menu is a bit expensive, but once the food arrives, you'll be dazzled. Be sure to try the scallop appetizer, one of the fish orders, and the famous hula pie dessert.

Orchard Supply Hardware was founded when the formation of Sunnyvale started. Farmers needed a place where hardware for orchards was sold for a low price. Today, OSH offers that same feeling of local business, selling their products for reasonable prices. They offer home, car, garden, and all kinds of other materials needed for do-it-yourself work. The gasoline trimmer I recently purchased from OSH is still working well, and I highly recommend this store for everyone.
