Eastwind Books & Art Inc. is easy to find on Westwood Boulevard but I was disappointed with their selection. It would be an easy place to find to pick up a quick birthday present or housewarming gift, but don't expect them to have a wide variety or any depth to their collection. Some of their items are fairly cheap and I have doubts as to the quality of their merchandise. Overall, you get what you pay for, which won't be a lot.

Sports Rush offers great work out clothing as well as fashionable work-out style clothing. They have great, supportive shoes from name brands like Nike and Addidas. Their clothing is exceptionally comfortable (as sports clothing usually is) and they offer a wide selection of colors and styles. I would recommend this to anyone who needed to expand their work-out wardrobe! I loved their selection of track pants.

Henri's Salon de Beaute was a nice, european style hair salon. I enjoy getting hard to find beauty products there. They have good selection, but there prices are a bit steep. However, I am willing to pay this for the qualtiy of product I get. I have yet to get a hair cut there, but the personnel seem personable and friendly. I would expect a great cut from them. Their product quality is fabulous.

Joseph's Flower Works did a wonderful job with my requests. I had some fairly complicated bouquets that I needed for various events and they handled then gorgeously. The flowers were crisp and fresh. They helped me choose some other bouquets and flowers for friends with allergies or who were in the hospital. They were exceptionally helpful and I was extremely pleased. A dozen roses costs 30 dollars, which I found reasonable.

Shane's Hair Salon did a wonderful job coloring my hair. I do not have particularly easy hair to deal with and they handled it beautifully. I had rich hair color that lasted at least two months before I needed a touch up. My stylist was personal and friendly and very easy to talk with. They helped me pick a color that would complement my skin and eyes, which was a perk I was not expecting. Two thumbs up!

I was surprised by London Dry Cleaners. I dropped off my work uniform there and it was returned to me quite quickly. The amount of starch they used was perfect. They took good care of my clothes and I did not lose any buttons. The help was non particulary talkative, but very helpful. The location is easy to access but parking is particularly difficult. I suggest parking elsewhere and walking.

Kami Hairstyling did a decent job with my hair. I have very difficult hair and I was impressed with what they could do with it. It was amazing, but it was certainly decent. The stylists were firendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. I felt the need to tip well and this was allright. The location was easy to find. The products they sold there were also effective, but quite expensive.

Perfect for matching to that special outfit! They also have some bags and other products that can accessorize any outfit. Good for costume parties and special occassions. The shoes are not particularly comfortable.

Ali Hair Salon was an overall disappointment. I found myself uncomfortable in the chair. My stylist was non-communicative and non-social. I almost had to go back to get my bangs fixed. The prices are reasonable, but the overall service is not worth it. They have a good magazine selection, but this does not compensate for the questionable service.

I was severly disappointed with Annie's Hair Salon. Although their prices are reasonable, I found that the service was allright at best. My hair was not cut to my description and I almost had to go back and get my bangs fixed. The hair dresser I had was very non communicative and unfriendly. Sitting there for 20 minutes was almost painful and socially awkward. I definitely tipped on the low side. However, they did have a good selection of magazines.
