Damon and Pythias (or DP as the local students call is) has a great selection of tasty wraps and salads that extremely healthy and satisfying. Hip and trendy DP really is "the food of the gods" because it is full of flavor. The servings are well portioned and their garlic fries are delicious. Nestled on Broxton, it has nice, quiet outdoor seating and service that is worth tipping for. I am never disappointed upon eating there. I take friends and family here frequently to impress them!

With more flavor and atmosphere than places like Subway and Togo's, Sepi's offers a good selection of sandwiches as well as beer. It's a good place to catch a late night snack, a beer, and the game. The staff are personable and it's a popular hangout for students in the area. The prices are cheap and the food is not excellent, but it is certainly satisfying. I good place to catch a snack if you are waltzing around Westwood.

Maloney's is a great place to grab a beer with the guys. It offers a wide selection of beers and other beverages. It is reasonably priced as far as bars go. It's a fun place to hang out and watch sports, especially when the Bruins are playing. A little dark and a little loud, it's a good place to bring people you know, but not necessarily to meet people. If you enjoy the college scene, this will be a real treat. Security is good and the bartenders are friendly as well.

Liquid Light studios helped me with some graphic designs I was working on for a project of mine. They were able to draw up some designs that I liked. They kept me very involved in the process of the design of the ads and I was impressed with the overall quality of the service they provided. They were not pretentious or condescending and were able to give insight on how to improve my brainstormed ideas.

My computer was running very slowly and quite clearly wsa having come technical difficulties. I brought it to Femto Computer and explained to them my problem. They were able to hypothesize a diagnosis and then took my computer and returned it to me later that week. They were able to explain to me what they did in terms I understood. I was a little disappointed with how long it took to fix, but I was not disappointed with how well my computer ran. They gave me advice on how to keep it in good condition as well.

Not designed for tall or larger people. They carried a lot of fun accessories as well. Shopping was a pleasure and their location is both chic and accessible. The shopping environment was pleasant and I did not feel the pressure the buy something. Browsing was fun. Imports Showroom adds to the trendiness of the Westwood neighborhood.

Freddy and Liana's was a wonderful hair cut. I had a trim done as well as highlights and I was ever so pleased. The salon was well kept and very sociable and very inviting. I would recommend this to my closest friends. My stylist was helpful but not forceful and listened to me closely. This was very satisfying in my hair cut experience. It is a little expensive for a hair cut, but with color it was completely worth the extra dollars.

I had high hopes for Spa Nails upon entering the salon. It is kept up nicely and the staff was very friendly. However, I was frustrated to find that their selection of colors and pattern is quite limited. I had a pedicure and I found the massage portion more painful than relaxing. It seemed to take an exceedingly long time. My pedicurist was quite conversational which was nice and I tipped her nicely, but overall, I was disappointed with the outcome. I would gladly pay more for better variety.

When my parents come to visit, I put them up at the W hotel on Hilgard. Because it is located on Hilgard, the W avoids the busy streets of Westwood and Wilshire. The views are wonderful- you can see Beverly Hills and the campus of UCLA. The rooms are tidy, but kind of small. This is fine for short stays. The lobby is gorgeous and the service is delightful. Getting a reservation is sometimes difficult, but if you call a few weeks in advance you should be fine.

Beverly Hills Cab Company has always gotten me to my destination in a quick, professional, and safe manner. I used to have to leave for work at 530 am and I was always able to get a cab. I have arrived at my destinations on time. Their phone operators are helpful and polite. Cabs come within 10 to 15 minutes usually and have great range. I find their prices reasonable and their cab drivers nice enough. I've never felt unsafe. I think they run a great and effective business.
