Nice Selection, High Prices

But then again, who shops for jewelry on King Street expecting to find something for under a few grand? No one who's 'in the know" that's for sure.
Croghan's is the type of place where you have to be buzzed in and out of the store. The store is very small. Do not expect to 'browse'. The people behind the counter keep their eye on you at all time. Ask to see one peice at a time. If you ask to see more than 5 peices in a single visit, the ladies get very testy and let you know that you're wasting your time.
If you are interested in purchasing something, drop a hint about your yearly income, or that you've got a couple of thousand dollars that are burning a hole in your pocket. Otherwise, they'll think you're too poor to afford anything, or that you're casing the place for a future-planned robbery.
Don't expect to get anything for under $2500. And that's ONLY if you want something teeny tiny. This is not a shop for cheap-o's. Be ready to spend at least 1/2 of your yearly income or more for any peice that is of size or quality.
And please don't linger. You don't want to make the ladies mad, do you ???
