TJs Sports Garden Restaurant has a full menu full of typical sports bar fare. They have something on the menu that will appeal to everyone in your group and isn't too pricy. I'd say the prices are average for any casual restaurant. They have a few huge screens to broadcast various sporting events in unison. They also have a full bar for the drinkers in your group. Pool tables and a game room sit on the lower level. It can get smoky and loud later in the night, especially if there's a big game on, but if that's the sort of atmosphere you're looking for when watching a big game then it's perfect. If you want a quiet meal, either go early or avoid it altogether.

We've always had good service from Wheeling Flower Shop. We just call them up and put in an order and they send us the bill. We've always been pleased with their displays. When there has been a problem, they've been quick to resolve such as when we sent flowers to a funeral out of town that ended up looking like a display of weeds thrown together by the florist in that other town that finished the order. We called Wheeling Flower Shop up and explained our dissatisfaction and they, without even us asking, offered to send a replacement planter to the family.

It is open seasonally just a few days a week in the afternoons, so make sure you call ahead or find a schedule before planning your day. You can call ahead and make an appointment for a time that fits better into your schedule if their regular schedule doesn't work. They also host a convention, show and auction every summer which is a huge hit for collectors of old Fostoria Glass.

The Victorian homes in this area are historical monuments and the city is closely recognized and tied to these structures. This particular tour runs seasonally from May through December in the afternoons a few days a week, so be sure to call ahead and make sure it's open before you stop in. Located in Centre Market in center Wheeling, this gallery is absolutely free to the public. It features works from local and regional artists. You can find many different kinds of art - from photography all the way down to greeting cards. They host a few different special exibitions at certain times of the month. They have what they call "First Friday" receptions for exhibitions of local artists and "Third Friday" coffeehouses to open their doors for local musicians. It's quite a unique experience in Wheeling and since it's free, there's no reason not to give it a try instead of sitting in front of the TV one evening.

For proms and homecomings, they again have a huge line of formal gowns and dresses for high schoolers to choose from for their dances.
