this store has been here for years so they are doing pretty well. and especially for a little store in a shopping center, rent must be fairly high...
but Hello kitty is so cute, well worth it, according to my daughter and niece i am sure!

i love all those beautiful pieces they have on display. and some day, when i can afford them, i will buy some!
right now, all i can do is look and oggle for myself! they not only have swarovski, they have chinese zodiac figurines in gold, etc. they are so adorable too!

i have been coming here for quite awhile too. it's been here for years. it closed for a bit, but reopened. and it's cleaner, brighter and seems nicer now.
i do go to a few different shops. i am one of those types of people that can't/won't schedule appts because my own schedule is so erratic.
but this 1 does have decent employees. for the most part, they work quickly and efficiently and don't hurt me too much. but i
have a very low threshold for pain, much lower than everyone else's!

I really enjoy little knic knac type shops... Especially when they are convniently located in large shopping centers which I frequent on a normal basis anyways becuase there is a supermarket...

Especially when they are convniently located in large shopping centers which I frequent on a normal basis anyways becuase there is a supermarket located there, a kinkos, a post office pickup spot, thriftys, big 5, and various little clothing boutiqu stores.
q's is like a small mom and pop .99 cent store. they have everything of a knic knac nature you may need. and even not need before you entered!
they frequently have people in the store but it's not overly busy. and there's always parking because it is located in a large shopping mall.
i always stop in when i'm down there to pick up stuff i may need...

When my kids were younger, they really enjoyed going to Travel Town and spending the day. They loved running around the trains, looking at the old museum like pieces. Sitting in them and eating...
When my kids were younger, they really enjoyed going to Travel Town and spending the day. They loved running around the trains, looking at the old museum like pieces. Sitting in them and eating there.
We adults were just happy to let them out of the house, run around, get exercise and watch them enjoy themselves!
Now, it's been handed down to my nieces and nephews. Now they love doing the very same things my kids did when they were younger! They run around the big trains, they look at the old sample museum sized pieces, they have parties in actual trains and can just be themselves.
I really recommend kids come and play here.

I had this beautiful sequin beaded formal dress that I wanted to keep for sentimental reasons. It said dry clean only on it. Which implies it cannot be machine washed at home.
So, I take it to the dry cleaners to be cleaned. They warn me, well, it is a special handle case, and there is a possibility that it will be ruined and please sign here you are aware of it... At this point I am wondering, why do I need to sign a waiver releasing them of liaibility in the event of damage. But to get the job done, I sign it. I figure it's a standard procedure...
Well, the obvious happened, it was permanently ruined... and they would not accept any responsibility because I signed the waiver and STILL charged me!!! Needless to say they lost ALL of my business! I have not stepped back in there once since!

they are fast, everything is ready made kind of like a buffet. just choose and point and they load up a take out box and you are on you way...

it is conveniently located... and parking is usually easy... lots of street parking and lots of lots around...
but it is a little divey, don't expect anything glamorous or even remotely close...

aloha cafe has a down home style feeling to it. and with pictures of hawaii themes on the walls, it will feel like you are in hawaii!
they give you a pretty good sized portion too! it can also get busy sometimes, so go on the off hours unless you are prepared to wait. it's not a large sized restaurant...
there are daily specials... we like the short ribs and kalua pork...

not often will you find a $12.95 plate of pastrami sandwich, which is quite pricey but really worth it!
i'm the kind that doesn't like to waste money if it's not worth it, but this is one 13.00 sandwich i will buy!
and they open till the wee hours of the night, so if you club late into the night, johnnies is good too!
