One of the more well known cab companies in San Francisco, they offer some very good service. They are a bit difficult to reach however during peak hours, as the wait to get to an operation is a bit excessive at times, however most of the time it was fairly easy to attain a cab. They are usually around the downtown area, and are quite large in fleet. There rates are standard compared to other cab companies. No discounts, but fair to very good service.

Ritz Camera offers a fair selection of cameras and films at its stores. Although, prices are not a bargain they are reasonably priced, and not highly inflated. With the advent of the Internet, it maybe placing pressure on these shops to stay competitive. Staff was very nice and helpful, and the store was clean. Although they didn't have the type of camera that I needed, they offered a decent selection along with a number of equipment.

Chipostle offers a number of food, however nothing really jumps out at you. Not that the food is bad, but just your ho hum Mexican entrée. Unless you eat around the Mission, there's really not a good place in the downtown for real Mexican food. There menu is a bit lacking, however they do give you whatever you like.

Papyrus deliveries high quality, and moderate range of offerings. There is nothing that sets this store apart from others besides the high prices for its cards and stationary. The designs on there cards are elegant, however for the prices that they sell for, using that money for a better gift, or flowers would probably be a better touch. If price is not a problem, Papyrus offers a nice shopping experience for those in it for high end products.

The library offers a number of study locations, and also a number of computer terminals, if you want to do research, or just waste a couple of hours. Located near by transportation, and open throughout the week, it's a great place to spend if your in the area.

San Francisco State University is a quality school, with a large number of resources. Tuition has been rising along with other expenses. Class sizes are extremely large, and difficult to get. There is great value in attending San Francisco State, however there isn't that great of feeling that there is a community. Since a majority of the students are commuters, there isn't that sense of school spirit presented. One of the better values in terms of education in the city, but not the best.

A tremendous amount of items are for sale, and offer deals on certain items. Lines are decent, and there's plenty of products that will fit your needs. There is a parking lot, however it gets full quite quickly.

One of the great local produce markets in the neighborhood, they offer very fresh produce, and a great friendly staff. They offer some of the best organic fruits in the city, and seem to offer the same consistence, that have made them a local mark in the Richmond District. Parking is very difficult to find, however if your just stopping by for an item or two, there a quality store.

The Wax Museum Entertainment Complex located near the Wharf, is your typical run of the mill tourist attraction. It gives you a decent hour or so, of looking at wax molds of your fav celebrities. It's a decent place to go around with some out of town friends, however if your just stopping by in the area, you can take a pass. There's better attractions near by such as the crab legs across the street, or Pier 39.
