Amato's serves the perfect ham italian. And plenty of other things too. But really, its the italian that will keep you coming back. My favorite part of an Amato's italian is the pickles. On some days, I would even be willing to drive all the way from Connecticut to Maine just to eat an Amatos pickle, I don't know why, but they're that good. Aside from italians, Amatos serves many other sandwiches, pizzas (not as good as Pat's, but none so bad either) and pastas. Their service is quick and friendly. At the Gorham shop there is a small dining area to eat in, so grab a soda, some chips and enjoy the Perfect Italian!
