Twin’s Pizza offers a delicious, homemade pizza with family-style portions. The large pizza at Twin’s is enough to feed at least 6. The wide variety of sandwiches, soups, and salads round out the menu. The staff is friendly, the service is excellent, and the food delicious. Twin’s Pizza has been run by the same family for over 40 years. Wait time can be long on Friday and Saturday nights, but it is definitely worth the wait.

The made-to-order Mexican fare is a refreshing change from your typical fast food of burgers, pizza and sandwiches. You can have a burrito, salad or tacos made right before your eyes from an array of fresh meats, vegetables, salsas, cheese and other toppings. The burritos are my favorite! Seating is available.

Marshalls is the place to go if you’re looking for a bargain on clothing, shoes or accessesories. The Lincoln mall location is larger than your average Marshalls, boasting a wide variety of goods. This location has a “Shoe Megashop” and stocks a huge variety of shoes for men, women and children. The selection of bargain-priced shoes is unbeatable and the layout of the shoe section is far more attractive than most stores. Rather than being arranged on high shelves and divided by size, the shoes are displayed on low shelves and grouped by style. They also have a large selection of clearance shoes.

If there is such a thing as gourmet hot dogs, Spike’s Junkyard Dogs has them. The hearty hot dogs at Spikes can be loaded with a wide variety of toppings, all on a French Baguette. Hot dogs on the menu range from a simple hot dog on a bun, “The Mutt”, to the signature “Junkyard Dog” topped with Tomato, Pickle, Scallions, Pepperoncini, and mustard. Other varieties include the “All American Dog”, “Pizza Dog”, “Buffalo Dog”, and “Yankee Dog”. If hot dogs are not to your taste, Spike’s also offers a wide variety of chicken sandwiches, pizzas, and sides, including their world-famous poodle fries.

Located on Route 1 in Norwood, Central Chrysler is only a short distance from Route 128. They have a huge selection of Chrysler and Jeep vehicles. If you don’t see what you’re looking for at their huge main lot, they may have your dream car at their auxiliary lot. My husband and I ended up at this dealership because they were the only ones in the area with a selection of 2006 Sebring. When we arrived at the dealership, we weren’t immediately pounced on by a salesman. Our salesman was very helpful, but not pushy. We knew what we wanted and he respected that. The finance manager was very pushy, but he was the only negative part of our experience.

Located on its own private beach, Seaside is the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. I’ve been vacationing here for 15 years. While all of the cottages are rented through a central office, there are many different owners. This gives each of the cottages its own unique personality. All are clean, beautifully maintained and have everything you need to make your stay pleasant. The grounds have beautiful flowers, well-manicured lawns and plenty of shade! Charcoal grills are available for those who want to cook out. The best part about Seaside is the private beach, which is never overly crowded. It’s so nice to be able to walk out of the door and onto the beach, without worrying about packing the family in the car for an entire day on a crowded public beach.

A visit to Cape Cod is not complete without a visit to the Sundae School. On summer evenings, this popular family-run ice cream shop is packed! During the high season, I try to visit during the afternoon. The Dennisport location is housed in a renovated barn and decorated to look like a classic ice cream parlor. The main room is graced by an antique soda fountain and working player pianos. College pennants hang from the rafters, denoting which schools their employees attend. The Sundae School makes their own ice cream, hot fudge and whipped cream. While the classic hot-fudge sundae is my favorite, they also offer delicious frappes, ice cream sodas and ice cream pies.

Price Point carries an array of deeply-discounted, brand name merchandise. For the most part, their selection is poor and consists mainly of store-brand clothing made for mid-range department stores. The styles seem to favor a more mature (middle-aged) crowd. Since Price Point is located next to a Christmas Tree Shop, I always check them out. Occasionally they’ll carry younger brands, such as Banana Republic, JCrew and Ann Taylor. Since I found an $80 Banana Republic sweater for $6, I’ll keep checking to see if they have any other amazing deals!

Christmas Tree Shops are known for their fantastic bargains, and the North Attleboro Location is no exception. From seasonal goodies, to furniture, from cleaning supplies to food products, you’ll find it all here. If I’m ever in need of baskets or picture frames, I head to Christmas Tree Shop. Their prices are excellent, but you need to be aware of the quality. Some items are durable and sturdy, while others…well, you get what you pay for. I’ve purchased several furniture items for my home and have been very pleased with their quality.

Who wants to pay full price for croutons? After all, they’re just dried bread. If you’re looking for a deal on croutons, or any other Pepperidge Farm products, then head to the Pepperidge Farm store on Route 1 in North Attleboro. Prices vary based upon how close to the sell-by date the products are. Those that have passed the sell-by date are subject to even deeper discounts. The sales staff will tell you how long past that date the food is deemed “safe” to eat. I’ve purchased croutons, cookies and goldfish crackers that have gone past the sell-by date and have not noticed any change in taste or consistency. The Pepperidge Farm store has excellent deals, and I make sure to check their stock when I’m in the area.
