This guy plays both sides. The patriotic posters shouting out to avenge Spetember 11th was a bit much for me and there are plenty of silly mainstream posters to take up your time. The store does carry some very cool vintage reproductions though. Some great ones of Buffalo in the glory days. Prices are Ok and they do a nice job at framming and matting.

We've bought both are recent cars here. Having worked at a car dealer, I am familar with the lowest o fthe low. They are usually slimey. I would have to say, however, that I am pretty happy with this place. Service is excellent and the prices are fair. It's a bit far to drive but most dealers are located out this way, anyway. I would say it's worth a look if you want a Honda. They also have a samll selection of used cars.

I’ve been going to Vito’s for years. I can’t say he does the best job, but he’s a barber. A haircut is 11 dollars and you get to sit for a while and read a magazine because the place is always busy....
I’ve been going to Vito’s for years. I can’t say he does the best job, but he’s a barber. A haircut is 11 dollars and you get to sit for a while and read a magazine because the place is always busy. He’s a nice older Italian and I enjoy talking to him about his vacations back to Italy. He just redid the place so it’s very nice inside.

They are greatly over priced however and the staff is usually cranky which makes doing business with them unpleasant. In some ways it’s a museum because nobody really wants to buy anything from them. I would say it’s worth the look if money is no object or you just like browsing.

They have a great selection of old stuff that needs some attending to but if you are looking for things for your old house chance are you will find it here. Prices are not marked but the owner seems to be fair in his suggestions.

We did some major business with this general contractor a few years ago. The work involved an addition and kitchen work. The initial job went well but things ended up taking much longer, which is part of the business, I guess. The finishing work, the more artistic stuff was not as good as we would have expected, considering how much we were spending. They also sub contracted some chimney and gutter work out for us that was not completed as outlined in the contract and we spent a lot of time going back and forth about it. I wouldn’t use this company again.

We brought two old lights to this small shop on Hertel and it took the owner much longer than he said it would to refinish and rewire them. Every time I called I had sense he had forgotten about them. They are very nice here and do an excellent job, however. We are very happy with the way they both turned out and I would do more business with them even though it may take awhile to get anything back.

You can’t beat Gothic city. Located on Niagara street, this antique and architectural salvage shop has various warehouses on Buffalos west side. They have managed to find a bunch of matching moldings for our old house. We also picked up a great fire place mantel here as well as some old light fixtures. Be prepared to haggle as nothing is really priced.

Nurse Midwifery Associates has delivered our two children. Though there have been some staff changes over the years the two senior Midwives are great. The receptionist is also very friendly and the place is much warmer and attentive than a doctor’s office. The care we received was first rate. We would trust no other place.
