I had my first visit to Studio 55 last weekend. My husband had bought us an introduction certificate when they opened and it gives you a sample of their services. They are a salon and also offer other beauty services, manicures, pedicures, massages, etc. My haircut was nice and well done. The prices seem to be reasonable and it's a laid-back atmosphere. I will be returning.

Chino Latino is a fun restaurant. They have a great happy hour but you need to get there early to get a table. The happy hour consists of wines and appetizers for only $2. I ate dinner there once and it was also very good. The best part of Chino is people watching and the atmosphere is great. Go there for the happy hour and stay to people-watch.

I found this printer while trying to print my wedding invitations on difficult paper. They said they could do the job and it was in my budget. With some difficulty the printing job was done and it was on time and on budget. This printer took on my project when multiple other printers turned it down. The end result was exactly how I envisioned it. All in all a good vendor with a good service.

We started taking our puppy to Golden Valley Animal Hospital when we first got him in December. We had just moved to the area and they were conveniently located. We haven't been anything but pleased with their services. His regular vet is Dr. Munson and he's amazing. He's so good with our puppy and we never worry when we have to leave him there. The staff is helpful and nice and you can tell they really love their jobs and animals. The practice is small and very reasonable.

Bonfire is a fun restaurant to dine at. The atmosphere is fun and the bar seating is limited so you'll want to get there as soon as possible. The seating fills up quickly. The bar area is a fun place to people watch as there is a large glass window and it's right on Grand Avenue. The food is great (try a pizza you won't be sorry) and the drinks are good also. There were dueling pianos on a weekday night but I'm not sure if they still do that. All in all it's a fun restaurant and a great place to people watch.

This bar is a nice place to do happy hour and the food is good. They have a great martini menu and the key lime martini is very yummy. The spinach dip is also very good. They have a great deal if it's your birthday and you bring in a certain number of friends (I believe it's 5) then you get a huge mug of drinks (mixed or beer) a t-shirt, appetizers, cake and you receive a picture of your party.

The store will also cut your order and sells paper by the pound at great prices. If you buy over a set pound of paper you will receive 10% off of your order (ask about it if you are buying a large amount of paper). The store is also a scrapbook and stamp store and has a large section of the store devoted to scrapbook paper. The store is a warehouse and be sure to check their hours!

The consignment store is dedicated to selling gently used bridal gowns at discounted prices. The store is clean and the prices are great. If you are on the hunt for a specific designer this store is worth visiting. When I stopped in there was both an Amsale and a Reem Acra gown at very discounted prices.

Be prepared to take off your shoes, I wasn't and didn't wear socks and was embarrassed. The staff was o.k. there was an issue that I had with being quoted an incorrect price by a sales associate over the phone and it wasn't honored. Also, after the incident Amy (the owner) didn't contact me to explain (poor customer service for an upscale bridal shop in my opinion). If you are looking at upscale designers and want a relaxed environment this would be the place to go.

I first visited this store when I was taking a beginner knitting class and I loved it. The store has a great selection of yarn at good prices. The classes are reasonably priced and very informative. The store is off of France Avenue and has ample parking in a free lot. They also offer online shopping and an online upcoming class schedule.
