It may seem funny that I am a girl writing this review but the food here is actually really good! And every time I go here I think I'm going to be the only girl but I am definitely not, in fact, last time I went there were a couple of tables of just girls and there were even some families. The waitresses are really friendly and always check in on you during your meal. Beware of getting too much food though, it's so good!

We randomly stumbled on this restaurant and it was a lot better than I expected! Both the restaurant and bar areas are huge and accomodating. The chips come out warm and the salsa has just the right amount of spice. The entrees were awesome too! We got the sonora chicken and the fajita quesadilla and both were served in huge portions and were really good! I didn't have any margaritas I definitely have to go back for one!

The best part about this place is the brunch on saturdays. From 10-2 it's all you can eat for $12 and the drinks are only $2 each. The service is a bit slow but the deal is worth it. I recommend the oatmeal, it's really thick and you get a good sized portion. Also, their mimosas are really good!

This restaurant looks tiny from the outside but it's actually 4 rooms deep! The atmosphere is very romantic, with dimmed lighting and paintings on the walls. The waitstaff is extremely friendly and attentive, constantly checking in and making sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need. The food is awesome! I had a dish that was chicken, portabello mushrooms, and cheese in a red wine cream sauce, it was amazing! They have a great selection of wines as well. This is one of my new favorite restaurants!

This isn't the best Japanese steakhouse I've been to actually. I ordered the shrimp and it wasn't very tasty, even after it was cooked. They don't have any sauces except soy sauce to put on your meal and I have to highly disagree with Douglas about the egg sauce because I thought it was nasty! Not to mention it's a heart attack waiting to happen! I will say this though, the decor is great and the is extremely friendly and on the ball. You smell like the place when you leave, but that's a downfall to any hibachi restaurant. I would search the area for others before I try this one.

This is a pretty authentic middle eastern restaurant. If you are going to get food here I suggest getting take-out because the service is extremely slow when you're actually in the restaurant. However, their portions are very big and their prices are cheap so you can't really complain! The restaurant is conveniently located near the west campus of UIC so if you work at any of the hospitals or the school it's a nice, quick place to get lunch!

You could spend a couple hours in there looking around and gathering new ideas for art projects. The staff is very knowledgeable about their inventory and they are helpful and suggesting products for you. Also, they give a 10% student discount if you show an ID!

This place is SO GOOD! They've got almost every type of topping you could think of and they have a lot of different flavors of ice cream. They make sundaes for you where they fold in the toppings you choose with whatever flavor ice cream you want. Their sizes are called "like it", "love it" and "gotta have it". You can make your own creation or pick one off their menu. My favorite ice cream flavors include sweet cream, white chocolate, and cake batter and some of my favorite toppings are white chocolate chips, yellow cake, peanut butter cups and nuts! They give you a free cone on your birthday too if you sign up online!

This is a great place to stop in after work and just browse around at their selections, which most always change week to week. Every pair of shoes is under $20 and they've even got handbags to go with them. They've always got a variety of styles and you don't need to wait for a sales associate to bring you the shoes because they are all in boxes for you to try on at your leisure. It's a great place to get cheap shoes! This location also has free parking!
