They won't sell you anything you don't need, and you can even bring your own replacement parts. They'll just charge for labor. If you've got an older car, they'll give you an honest assessment of whether it's worth fixing. They'll do everything possible to get you through inspection. Early drop-off is easy; they provide envelopes for your keys (with a form to describe the problem), and you just slip them thru the slot. They don't talk down to you and are very thorough in their explanations.
