I bought a camcorder at J and R, having shopped there frequently under the assumption that, unlike on the internet, they would take back defective products. The camcorder was terrible, so the next day I tried to return it. NO ONE, from the top to the bottom would help me. They all insisted it was just a bad quality camera, and that I should have done more research. So their warranties are lies--they will NOT accept returns on merchandise. You risk a lot of money shopping there. Best Buy, Circuit City, anyplace but J and R in the future.
