Appalachian Ski and Outdoors is a great local shop for quality outdoor clothing and equipment. It offers equipment for downhill and cross-county skiing, snowboarding, camping, hiking, climbing, and backpacking. Plus is carries some great brand names such as North Face, Patagonia, Columbia, and Salomon. Prices are inline with other stores but definitely not cheap.
