I found their work to be competitively priced, and I was impressed. I have used them multiple times for projects and portfolios, and am never dissapointed. Their turnaround time was also excellent on these projects - Kinko's tried to tell me they were out a few days, I went to cal copy, and they had it done the next day.

I wasn't very impressed with this museum. They try very hard to be your "cultured" and "classy" art museum, but I didn't find their art all that cultivating. The museum is part of balboa park (an excellent place for all sorts of people), but the museum itself is definetely not family friendly (something I think most balboa attractions attempt to be).

unique. I walked in the front door, and walked on a tile floor. NOPE! That wasn't a tile floor, that was art. As was the giant circle of rocks...and the three trash cans lined up next to each other. This museum definetely has some "modern" art, but I have always had trouble grasping when things become art. I say it's art if it took some talent or creativity to make it. They say it's art if you paint a wall green... how curious

Stopped in here during the Cityfest they just had over in Hillcrest. It was a fun little shop with all sorts of random items. My favorite book was "everyone poops", but they had all sorts of interesting gifts. Lots of humour books, and fun little trinkets. Prices were also pretty good, so if you're looking for a cheap present, head here!

I checked out Shed shop and a few others, and I must say I was most impresed with the shed shop. Their customer service was excellent, and I really liked their shed models. They had the perfect size for me, and I love the fact that they do interiors now (apparently they didn't before). I have been extremely pleased with my interactions with them!

Golf N Games was a lot of fun as a kid, but now that I'm a bit older, I can see that it isn't the best of the mini-golf venues. The attractiosn it has are pretty basic, and the golf greens are usually pretty run down. It isn't too pricey however, and is usually cheaper than if you go to the nicer venues. Good for the family, but don't try to take your date there!

I have been drug to many scrapbook stores by my girlfriend. This one struck me as one of the worst. Not only are they quite a bit pricier than the other scrapbook stores I've seen, but the entire atmosphere is a bit shetchy. When you walk in they have a sign that tells you to "not open your purse". They should just have a giant neon sign calling everyone a thief. I found it quite disrespectful (this is after they make you check any of your bags at the front). If you need scrapbook supplies, take your business elsewhere.

I was very impressed with this place. It is much cheaper than all of the other restaurants on the strip, and the food was still excellent. We had the fajitas and quesadilla, and both were great. They also offer a wide variety of beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. If find yourself in Old Town and are looking for a cheap, but tasty meal I recommend The Alamo!

Went here hoping to find some DVDs since they have on their window that they buy back DVDs. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case - why would they buy DVDs if they don't sell them?! Took a chance to look around after being dissapointed, and the CDs were a bit pricey as well. Hard to support when there is a Music Trader a block away with better prices, and more selection!
