Several of my friends and I booked a cruise through this travel agency. Our worst mistake. These people are so unorginzed it is horrbile. One person in out group wanted to pay cash for the trip so they would not have to ,ake payments. Well because not more than one person was willing to do this for some reason this raised our price up, because of some small print fee that went with paying ahead of time. Noone inform any of us this until it was time for our last payment. The next time I decide to book anything witha travel agency, this will NOT be the one I call.

I needed another vechile to drive back and forth to work that would not use up alot of gas and that was dependable. Well a good friend suggested to go to Uncle Johnnys Good Cars. At first I gave it second thoughts until I actul went just to be doing something. There were actually okay cars that were cheap and dependable that did not need work on and could get you from any location without worrying if it would stale or just breakdown on you. If your looking for a cheap little car that is just a car and not nothing flashy, Uncle Johnny's Good Cars should be a place that yo at least check out.

I called custom fences to get an estament for a new fence that I wanted around my backyard. After speaking with them over the phone they had pretty much won me over. They came out the next day to take measurements and see how leveled the land was. They also brought a broucher for me to review to choose the type of fence style that I wanted. Before you knew it, I had signed a contract and they would start the following day. It took no time at all for the fence to be put in place. Everyone has asked who did your fence, it looks great! I have Custom Fences to thank for making my yard look great and adding value to my home as well.

I bought a Door from A B C Doors and was highly impressed. Not only did they have a wide varitery of doors to select from but you also had a large selection of wood grain and designs. First you have to select through the sizes of door that would fir in your walkway. Second, you choose what wood grain you would like best. Afterwards you have more and more selections of styles, acessesories to have placed on the door, and the selection hust goes on and on!
When you are in the markert for a new outstanding door that will give you compliments for several years to come, your selection should be A B C Doors!

I have been a customer at Andres for at least 14 years, and can remember the place when it was owned by a guy from Switzerland. Since then it has been bought out by 2 ladies. They have worked hard to build up the business. I have always adored Andres. The raspberry rum cake and the white chocolate cake are two of my favorites. It seems that Andres never lacks a steady stream of customers. You have to go early to get a booth. Having said all of this, I have to add that something is changing in the attitude of this restaurant. They are developing "une attitude", which if left unchecked, will drive customers away faster than a falling souffle. Back in July, I walked in one Saturday, mouth drooling with anticipation, to eat some of their Beef Bourguignon. I had one mouthful and it was clear that there was enough salt in this dish to kill a large elephant. After gagging on 2 more mouthfuls, I asked my waitress if I could exchange this dish for some of their Quiche. I was told that I would have to pay for an extra plate of food (even though this was inedible). Five minutes later the edict was changed, and I was allowed to get a different plate. Quel dommage!! Another word to the wise, don't ever question the portion of the food on your plate, or you'll think that you are being hauled away to la guillotine ! Last week I stopped by for lunch and was served some Beef Stroganoff. The plate had about 2 tablespoons of egg noodles (much less that the usual amount)...I was told that I got less noodles because they had also included some green beans on the plate as well. As I said earlier, I used to adore Andres, but if this attitude of "the customer is always wrong" continues I will take my appetite, and business elsewhere.

About half way through the meal a passing waiter serving the table next to ours spilled prime rib au jus all over me, and was not particularly polite or apologetic about it. Of course I was wearing something new - and white. Eventually the manager came over and offered to pay for drycleaning - only if I brought back a receipt - no "gosh I'm sorry we ruined your special evening. Let me give you a free dessert". The cleaners could not get the stain out after two tries so the outfit had to be replaced. The manager would not believe that could possibly be the case. I had to take in a receipt for the cleaning, a receipt for the outfit, and bring back the item to show that in fact it would not come clean. Not only were they in the wrong, but they were very rude and unhelpful. I'll never go there again.

I've been eating sushi in Houston for 20 years and hands down, Uptown Sushi is the best I've ever had here. I've been there four times and each time the sushi and the service have been excellent.
When you walk in the door, you don't think you're in Houston. It's very hip and I anticipated an attitude. Not at all. From the hostesses to the bartenders to the wait staff, everyone has always been very friendly and accommodating.
The only non-sushi item I've had is the Ribeye Roll and it's great too. I was told it's their specialty. The first time I ordered it, it was a bit overcooked for me, so the next time, I made sure to ask that it be cooked medium rare and it was perfect.
For Houston, the sushi prices are high, but you get what you pay for. It's not what you'll find along Westheimer!
I highly recommend Uptown Sushi.

I'm telling ya, those hibachi chefs are pretty talented. I come here at least once a week after a long day at work, just to relax and enjoy the meal. Once thery remember your face which normally t akes at least two or three time of you showing up. They already have memorized your oders on what you do and donot like. They will have it out to you in no yime flat.
I would recommend this place for anyone. Enjoy! :)
