I went to Uomo European Clothing store one time looking for a gift for my boyfriend, and I wasn't impressed. Maybe because I'm not into the chic Eurotrash look, but I thought the clothes here are pretty bad and pretty ugly. I just want to stress that the clothes here probably aren't my bad, they just aren't to my taste at all.

Scheuer Linens is a very very fine linens store downtown. I went there when I moved into my new place and was looking for new sheets to deck out my bed. Scheuer Linens is AWESOME! It's definitely not the cheapest place around but everything is so fine and soft... it really is kind of decadent, but I figure sometimes, it's worth it!

You see a lot of the poor quality milky green jade, but the China Gem Company has the very nice deep green jade that is a sign of high quality. The staff are all friendly and make you feel totally at ease. I like to browse here a few times a month.

I bought some earrings at Lucky Fine Jewelry, and I’d say, the whole process was about average. The staff were friendly, but not overly helpful. I never really felt at ease, and I think that’s a huge deal when you’re shopping for jewelry. I didn’t receive a great price, but I don’t feel like I was ripped off either. It’s not bad.
