Comics Experience, also known as Comix Experience, is seriously one of the best, if not the best, comic book store in all of San Francisco. It would be hard to find a place that has as comprehensive and as diverse and intriguing a selection as Comix Experience does. Definitely recommended for any comic book nut.

They have all kinds of high end pet products, such as collars, feeding bowls, sleeping pillows, scratching posts, and a lot more. It isn't the cheapest pet store in the world, but what you get is certainly worth what you are paying.

I go to 360 Degrees Gourmet burritos about two times a month, and I always look forward to it. They have great shrimp, and shrimp and scallop burritos. You get a variety of tortilla types to choose from: spinach, plain, low-carb, etc, and they never skimp on putting too little shrimp in there. Overall, this is a really good, albeit not traditional, burrito place.

Funky Door Yoga is a cool little place that I went with a friend with one time. I found the atmosphere to be a lot "younger" than a lot of other yoga places, meaning that they had a concerted effort to make this more of a hip spot than just any other yoga establishment. I liked it. I liked it a lot. Great classes, great staff, and attractive clientele!

Studio 325 is a full service salon that offers manicures, pedicures, facials, everything at a very affordable price - quite the feat downtown in the middle of the Financial District. I have stopped there on many a lunch hour to have my worries emory boarded away. The prices are average, the staff is great, all around a very good experience.

I spent about half a year in Africa in my younger days, so I got to see a lot of actual, real, traditional African crafts. Let me tell you, they are amazing. While they are not of the highest quality that I saw when I was in Africa, Sujaro African Imports does have very very good stuff. I think the prices are a little high, but compared to actually being in Africa, any prices would seem high to me.

My parents stayed in the Sir Francis Drake once when they were visiting me, and from going into their rooms, I got the impression that although the tone and atmosphere of the room, and entire hotel for that matter, are really cool, the rooms are pretty darned small. Maybe it was just that particular room, but I wouldn't pay what they paid for the size of the room.

If you are looking for really good stuff, just wander a few blocks down to the fine shopping district east of Union Square. The stuff here will be equally as expensive and not near the quality.

Nob Hill is full of really touristy stores, places you don't necessarily want to go to, but Gallery Carla is one of the exceptions. This gallery is full of beautiful paintings, mainly figure paintings, but all very expertly and beautifully done. I've never bought a painting there, I don't have that kind of cash, but it definitely is worth a browse.
