What can I say about Tommys except good food thats easy on the wallet. They have been around as long as I have been alive , so thats a long time. You can get a burger, fries and drinks for less than a 5 spot. You can eat in or go through the drive thru. My kids also rave about their hotdogs. They load them up anyway you like them. My hubby states that the chili cheese fries are the bomb!

My kids love their pizza and meatball sandwiches. You can call in for delivery, pick up or eat in. They have been around for a few years now. Give them a try next time and see how you like them.

The portions are huge and tasty. We feed a family of 5 for less than 20 bucks. Don't be intimidated by the long lines, they are adequately staffed and the line moves fast. Located in the Albertsons parking lot next to Stone Cold Creamery in Fountain Valley. Check them out sometime.

I have been going to Islands in Fountain Valley since I was in high school and that was a long time ago). There menu consists of burgers, tacos and yummy salads. The kids love this place. The have tv's all over with surfing videos for the kids to watch. There are also toucans placed all around the restaurant. My favorite is the caeser salad.Its huge and yummy. You can't eat here without a basket of their famous french fries. You only need to order one basket per family because they're huge.Going on a date night they have a full bar too.

My favorite being the Works.It has a lille bit of everything on it. I often go there and get a dozen bagels to take to work. I like supporting local business's . They also have take out and catering. My favorite meal is the enchilada and taco plate.......yummy.......along with fresh chips and salsa and its a perfect meal. J and J subs in Fountain Valley is yummy. Its the local hang out on thursday afternoons for the junior high kids. The prices are great and the food is good. For example you can get a hamburger , fries and a drink for under $ 5.00 bucks. They have been around for a long time, since I was in junior high and thats been a while. Check them out next time your in the neighborhood. I would just avoid Thursday afternoons because there are kids everywhere. Take care
