The comsewogue library offers a comprehensive list of activities, workshops and even classes for adults and kids every month. Residents receive a listing in the mail a few weeks beforehand, and they are available at the library too. We have taken the defensive driving course there for a third of what it costs at an insurance agency! They also have an amazing kid's section and lots of books on tape/cd!

We go there once a week for dinner....and at a buck an item, money goes far. You can even order things the way you want them (no mayo, extra pickle, etc!). The employees are extremely nice and when using take out, we have never in three years had an item left out when we return home!

YOu simply drive up, order, pay and drive off....without ever leaving your car! They are great on rainy days (or sunny) or when you are under the weather, stuck with a sleeping baby but need an item or too for home, etc!

On an island full of often dirty, or not as well maintained, theaters that cram audiences together, island 16 offers stadium seating, a nice environment and a restaurant all under one roof...its an amazing experience! Parking is ample and because everything is so new, the atmosphere seems nicer, too. Weekends are busy there but still calmer than many other theaters during the same time.

A manicure and pedicure is so reasonable (and they have coupons available every so often in the local papers!) - the staff are friendly and make you feel right at home, your time in the chair whizzes by. If you smear a nail or two before leaving, they fix it on the spot without any questions or comments.

my husband drives around 120 miles back and forth to work and somehow has wound up with cracks in his windshield from small pebbles/road debris on two occasions. As time wears on, the cracks expand, particularly as the weather changes and replacements are needed. We have used Hildreth both times and could not be happier with the service, quality of the work and ease of having them do the repairs. It is a quick painless process- the longest we have waited is about 3 hours to pick up the car.
