This huge facility is a Akron delight. Featuring shows like Sound of Music, Footloose, My Fair Lady, Singing in the Rain and many more, this theatre is highly regarded as the show place of Ohio. Dinner is included in the ticket price as long as you select from a short list of items and coffee and tea is also included in the price. You have the opportunity to upgrade your dinner to more expensive plates and even Lobster. Appetizers and Dessert are available as well as several full bars for your service.
From a local who used to work at the Carousel. Me! Here are some tips. Get there early !! For some apparent reasons and some less apparent reasons. If you get there early you will have time to relax and unwind before the show starts. It will give you ample time to enjoy you meal and not allow your wait staff to stress out and serve you before the show starts. In addition, most meals are prepared ahead of time due to the short timeframe from doors opening to show start. This allows the waiters to go into the kitchen grab their meals and deliver them in a timely fashion. This also creates a problem. If you arrive late, you will receive a dinner that has most likely been picked over by the time you get there. You will never know it but the servers have been picking through the dinners all night to find the perfect one for their table. By the time your server gets to your dinner, the dinners have been picked through resulting in your dinner being potentially less than desirable.
Get there early and enjoy.
