Office Depot is a great store if you need "normal" office supplies. The carry a large variety of supplies every office needs at reasonable prices, including office equipment. They also have a print shop area where basic copy/print jobs can be done and other printing ordered. The amazing part is that even as large as Office Depot is, it lacks any real depth of products. Sure, they have tons of printer labels, but they seem to stock only the most popular sizes and specialty sizes aren't even available. This holds true with many of the products I go into the store looking for. Even though they don't have everything l need I still go often.

Red Robin restaurant is a great place to go for a casual dining meal. We usually go to Red Robin for lunch but sometimes for dinner. The place is somewhat noisy but the service is quick and the food is good.
My favorite meal is the BLTA which is a bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado sandwich served on a croissant. I usually omit the A because I do not care for the texture of avocado but my husband loves it on his. The sandwich is large and is served with all you can eat steak fries and a slice or two of cantaloupe or melon.
My husband usually orders a burger and they do have a wide variety of choices under the burger heading. He is always happy with the one he gets.
We have tried many other items on the menu and have not been disappointed with any of them.
For a real treat try the strawberry lemonade. It takes a few minutes to make it is just wonderful.

Usually I just ship the few packages I have by USPS but I have something that needs to be sent UPS.
For example, my work laptop needed to be sent to the home office for replacement. I was uncertain about how to pack it securely so I took it to the UPS store.
I was very impressed. There was only a few minutes wait time until I was helped. I explained what I needed. He pulled a box while I completed the paperwork. I was a little concerned when I had paid and was told it would be packed and shipped later because I was just leaving a laptop sitting there not even sealed in a box but they did get it on it's way quickly and well packed.
The convenience of having someone else pack my item and having a close to home location to drop off was great. I still go to the post office for most of my shipping but I was impressed with the UPS store.

The Daniel Boone home tour is a great place to learn more about local history and about how people lived in the past. Learning by experiencing first hand has the greatest impression and the Daniel Boone home is an enjoyable place to tour.
The home site has not only the home built by Boone and his sons but many other buildings from the same time period have been saved from around the state, moved to the Boone home site and restored. This gives an impression of what a village would have been like during Boone's time.
The tour guides offer many details about how the Boone's lived their lives and help visitors get a real feel of the "luxuries" Boone and his family had. The tour is a bit expensive when an entire family goes but it is a great learning tool.

Nearly Perfect Shoes in Earth City is a retail outlet for a catalog/internet company that sells shoes in unmatched sets. For example, some people need shoes in two different sizes because their feet are different sizes so Nearly Perfect Shoes is willing to help them out.
The retail outlet is a self-service shoe store and the carry mostly women's shoes but they also carry men's and some children's shoes. They usually have a great selection of sports shoes, including golf shoes and soccer shoes. Most of the pairs of shoes are mismatched by a half size but I have found many perfectly matched sets and most shoes are well known name brands. All of the shoes are sold at discounted prices.
Nearly Perfect Shoes is worth a stop to check out their selection which changes often.

Supermarket of Shoes has a great selection of shoes for every family member. I like the convenience of a shoe store that has dress, casual and athletic shoes for myself, my husband and my kids. Another great benefit of this location is that it is located in a strip mall and I do not have to go into the mall to get a good variety of shoes. There is another Supermarket of Shoes right up the street in the mall but I usually prefer the non-mall location.
They have a good rewards program and are willing to check other locations for shoes they may be out of stock of in the size you need. I have always received great service and the prices are reasonable. This is always our first stop for shoes.

Blizzard Beach is a snow storm themed water park located at Walt Disney World. The water park has a nice lazy river and many water slides. Being pregnant I was unable to go on any of the slides but was able to enjoy the river and also enjoyed just relaxing near the water. The rest of the family had a great time going down slides although they complained that a couple of them gave bad "wedgies".
The ski lift that takes customers up to the top of the water slide mountain worried me a bit because it was having problems on the day we were there and at least twice it stopped for ten minutes or more with people hanging mid-air. I was concerned that my kids would be stuck.
We had a good time at Blizzard Beach and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

My family really enjoyed Disney's MGM Studios. Our family found the rides to be more thrilling than most of the ones at The Magical Kingdom. They especially enjoyed the Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Roller Coaster. The live action shows were saw were ok but I did not find them outstanding. The highlight of the day was definitely Fantasmic. This show was packed. We had special seating because of purchasing the dining/show package. Because we attended during the non-busy season this was a waste. Even those in the reserved section must arrive very early to get a good seat. The package limited the meal choices at the restaurant and although the food was great it we would have preferred full menu choices. If you are going during a busy time I would certainly purchase the package but otherwise don't waste the money.
As with everything Disney does, MGM Studios is perfectly themed and decorated. My family really enjoyed the day there and some even went back to hit a few rides again and go on some they missed.

We spent an enjoyable day at Disney's Animal Kingdom last fall. The only downside to the visit at all was that my daughter's were disappointed that the newest attraction - Mt. Everest - was not yet...
We spent an enjoyable day at Disney's Animal Kingdom last fall. The only downside to the visit at all was that my daughter's were disappointed that the newest attraction - Mt. Everest - was not yet completed.
The park is safari themed and does a wonderful job of displaying animals in beautiful, natural settings. Because I was pregnant at the time I was unable to go on many of the rides but the rest of my family really seemed to enjoy them, especially the dinosaur ride.
I personally enjoyed the visit to Animal Kingdom because the pace seemed slower than at many of the other parks. We enjoyed the parade although it did block us from getting to where we needed to go.
Because we were part of a Magical Gathering group we were able to take a special Safari Tour and Dinner. The tour was great and the dinner was delicious.
While not as exciting as some of the other parks at Disney, Animal Kingdom is a wonderful place to spend the day.

We spent an evening at Downtown Disney during our recent trip and would have loved to spend more time there if only we hadn't all been so tired at the end of the day.
We were able to take a bus from our hotel directly to Downtown Disney and back so transportation was easy. The area has many great restaurants and snack places to choose from if you get hungry. The shopping is great in Downtown Disney too. The shops have a selection of Disney themed items that is different from many we found in the parks plus there are other stores too.
The Lego store is really impressive with the assortment of Lego items available. We are not into Legos right now but it was fun to see all that is available. More to our family style is the Virgin Record store that had a huge assortment of music styles that catered to every family member's favorites. There were so many stores I would have loved to spend a lot more time shopping but vacation time was limited.
The area has plenty to offer for everyone in the family so make sure to add it to your agenda.
