Cremant has had numerous fabulous write-ups on the web, however I want to point out that this is a fantastic neighborhood restaurant that provides both the sophisticated food mixed in with low-key neighborhood attitude. A perfect addition to Madrona, we'll be there a lot.
Another plus - their wines are very reasonably priced. Think that they have a great approach.

Growing up in Seattle I've tried a fair number of the local salons. At some of them i felt as if the staff were always pushing me to be more 'creative' with my hair (I like it long and straight) or had too much turnover. After having my 4th stylist leave in 2 years from one popular salon I asked a few friends for a suggestion with the hopes of putting an end to my hair cutting madness.
The result of the simple request - a salon that i can say lives up to all the recommendations I had heard, and one that I can't ever imagine leaving.
The staff have always been great, helpful, friendly, talented and quite warm and welcoming. i would recommend giving them a try, you too might be as happy with them as i am.

My husband and I found this after moving to a close neighborhood during our house remodel. It has become one of our favorite locations to grab an easy Sunday lunch or evening dinner - and they didn't make strange looks at us when we came in wearing our paint splattered clothing.
The only drawback to the restaurant is that it can get a bit cold in the winter with all the exposed concrete and glass windows. As long as you plan for it you shouldn't have any problems.
