This is a very popular thrift store amongst hipsters. They seem to carry alot of old h&m stuff and I have yet to find something truly worthwhile. But they do I have some cool shoes. The good thing about this place is they buy your old cloths (if they think that they are cool enough or not cool enough) or donate them to a women's shelter. Be prepared to sell your stuff that is already vintage.

This is a very cool store. I've bought a few gifts here which include these funky plastic cut out mirrors and very fancy tea kettle. The jewelry is very cool and original and you can most likely find something for all those you know with discerning tastes. However, prepare to spend a good buck.

While the atmosphere is good for students to study (good lighting, not too social, not noisy), the coffee is less than gourmet with gourmet prices.
This morning, I begrudgingly bought a coffee to go on my way to work, and found that the all of the coffee soaked through the bottom of my cup, leaving my car dirty and my coffee undrinkable. this is not good for morning coffee addict. they cheap out on their cups.

I would recommend sitting at one of the lounge style tables with a group of friends and ordering from the menu tapas style. The spicy tuna roll is very tasty and the hot pancakes are a nice complement to any sushi. They have a very good saki menu with boxes to drink from. The owner's mother works as a waitress and she is as cute as a button. I have been here several times with different experiences in terms of the timing of the food, but usually they time the tapas quite nicely which is fun.

The brunch at Rose Water is truly delicious with fresh banana bread or fig bread served with omelettes. The service is very good, with cool and collected waitstaff. The middle eastern platter at dinner is extremely fresh and tasty, but I ate some sort of venison stew that was a bit heavy and strange tasting.
