One December during the finals while I was at the University of Texas, a freeze warning closed every building in school, every business and every library. You can't study at a frat house, so I had to hang out at the only place you can always trust to be open ALL THE TIME! Welcome to Metro!
This is one of Austin's gems...it has a very high ceiling, comfy used couches, some steel furniture, and best of all, a GREAT variety of drinks and desserts made fresh. If you're lucky enough to get a chocolate chip cookie when it's fresh out of the oven, I'm sure you'll be hooked forever. Get the Vanilla Hazelnut, or the berry shakes made with Amy's ice cream.
Oh, and grab a good book...you'll be here for a while!
