It’s a small place with an eating area and one waitress. They have regular meals in their menu but the place is known for their desserts. I usually order 2 because you can never have enough. I forgot the exact name of the dessert but the lemon tart gelato is the best dessert in their menu. In the past, they considered it a special and they never bother to put it in their menu because it always ran out.

I love the dim sum in this place and the congee is so thin and tasty. I tend to order the dumpling noodle soups here when I don’t want to spend too much or eat too much but if I'm with a big group of friends, we order a variety of dim sum dishes and share them. Also you don’t end up seated with a bunch of strangers and worry about them taking your food by mistake.

My experience with this motel was horrible. We only had clean towels when we first signed in and that was it unless we went to the main office to ask for it and we HAD to PICK it UP. They TOLD US we had to bring the dirty ones back ourselves. Needless to say we didn’t out of principal. We paid to be in a motel we shouldn’t have to clean everything up ourselves. We also ran out of toilet paper. They never came to clean the room the whole weekend. My friend and I also never got back her deposit for the room so we paid more than necessary for bad service and a room with a bad toilet. In additon to all this crap, we were too far from the clubs.

A business that looks like it’s been around for yrs. They had a nice selection of yarns for a cheap price. It was great that it was near a subway stop but the neighborhood was not. The store is underneath the J train at Woodhaven Blvd stop. The yarn on sale was not as great of a selection as the ones that were regular price however it was still cheaper than most places. They have a sale once a month for a week during the winter. However now that Michael’s opened up in Queens, I have gone there instead to get yarn since location wise it’s a lot more convenient to get the R or V train.

A family owned business that makes great authentic Thai food. Their coconut rice is awesome and thai ice tea is amazing. Most of their foods are spicy so if you want to be on the safe side, pad thai is your best bet for anything non-spicy. The only down side to the restaurant is they closed one day of the week on a weekday and since it is family owned if they go on a family vacation, they are closed.

You can sit there for hours and they won’t kick you out. It’s a great place to go with friends that you haven’t seen for awhile to catch up.

Certain days I find great stuff like deli turkey meat from Oscar Mayer, salami, brand name breads, breakfast links, etc. and all this for 99 cents each. This is a great place to shop when you are not too picky about the expiration dates and you are one of those New Yorkers that need to pay more in rent than food. If you buy any food in the fridge section, be warned that most expiration dates are within a week. They also sell things there that you wouldn’t think you can find at a 99 cents store. When you go there it’s almost like a treasure hunt. Sometimes you find something good and other times you don’t find anything you want. They also have stuff like kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, and school supplies.

Nice place w. Japanese drawing on the wall. During lunch, the place has people eating alone or w. friends or co-workers. They have reasonable prices on their menu with the option to do take out or delivery. The food is good but sometimes the side salad that comes with your meal has started to turn brown.

They have many unique flavors that can’t be found in most ice cream places. It even sounds healthy like mango, lychee, coconut, avocado (which I’m not sure I want to try), etc. My favorite are mango and coconut flavors. The only problem with the place is that it is small and there are no seats to sit down and enjoy the ice cream. The place is pretty easy to find, my friends and I just look for the big flag of the green dragon while we walk around Chinatown.

This is a place where you go to get wasted for a cheap price. They make great and VERY strong margaritas so be careful of how much you can really handle. I was half way through my first melon margarita before I looked around the room and realized I was already tipsy. They also have great food served in the large open area outside when it’s nice out. It's tough to resist the terrific free chips and salsa but then again it could be all the liquor talking.
