Friendly staff, with a wide range of clientele ages and types with a great stage and excellent sound system. parking is minimal, but the place is inviting and our server was on top of things. Topping the list at this bar is their Karaoke book. I have never found a collection this good, filled with plenty of rarely-heard choices. Members of our party were literally screaming when they discovered their specific favorites.

A 2 level, warehouse-sized dreamland for music and movie junkies. Street parking is okay, but they have both an underground garage and a small parking lot. The lower level is dedicated to music both new and used, with CD's, and vinyl dominating over cassettes. A small stage at the rear of the front room host local and national acts on a regular basis. The upper level is dedicated to movies, with new and used DVD's, videotapes and soundtracks. The staff are very knowledgeable (colectively) with each person having their own specialties. The prices are very reasonable, the selections are both thorough and eclectic, and the potential for hearing and seeing things you've never encountered before is present in overabundance.

If you can only shop in one place when you're in L.A., come to Fred Segal. They always have the best, up to date clothing for any occasion, for any style. The Santa Monica store is better than the Melrose store, (although the Melrose one is more popular) and make sure you check out each boutique. Also, don't be intimidated by the salespeople. The shoppers may be snobs, but the the salespeople are really nice and helpful.

A wide selection of books -- including a good sale selection just inside the front entrance (past the newspaper and magazine stand) and in the back by the cookbooks. Upstairs, there a nice selection of cards and writing paper, and a room full of children's books that also always full of kids. Another plus is the little cafe when you can curl up with a coffee or maybe some lunch and enjoy the books you just purchased.

The service was very friendly and personal. Apparently this place is rising in popularity but it had the feel of a small neighborhood place. The wax was pretty good. She knows exactly what she is doing and she knows just how to make you feel as relaxed as you can be during the service. Rates are also very reasonable.

Wild Rivers is the all-time best water park in Southern California, at most water parks you stand in line till you are completly dry waiting to get on the next ride, not at Wild Rivers. They do have cool rides, If they could only take some of the rides out of Raging Waters and add it would be awsome. Don't forget to try the Bazooka Bowls.

Other than parking, you really don't have to spend a dime. Logically, you probably will pay for food... but that is the same with anywhere else. It's definitely a lot of fun to go there, though....

There's a lot of cute stores to go into, that are definitely entertaining. There are also great restaurants. You should go at night, though. Then it's all lit up.

This is a good place if you want to have a very serene day and be taken care of. Lovely environment. The women's area was one of the best I'd ever seen-lots of showers, jacuzzis, lounge chairs, saunas, and all the amenities were in abundant supply. The staff was just as wonderful as the facility. I loved the infused ice water and the special tea, it made the experience complete.

it's a fun place to go, mostly if you are a thrill seaker, having the best rides in southern california, such as Deja Vu, X, Riddler's Revenge, Batman, Superman, Goliath, I would not recommend this park for people with small children at all. Fun but extremely crowded on weekends. I suggest going during the mid-week.

Well-designed galleries that offer works up to the viewer rather than close them off. The Hockney show was well-done--taking a large and varied collection of a life's work and making good sense of it all. More managable in scope than LACMA, all of MOCA's galleries can be easily seen in an afternoon--very little museum fatigue at the end of a visit.
