Crossroads is a pretty cool place to find used and vintage clothing. I find that the clothes are easier to look through here than at thrift stores. Crossroads doesn't just sell women's clothing either....they sell stuff for men too. It takes a lot of time to look through all of their stuff, but most used clothing places are the same way. I got some pretty good deals here too.

I've been in Isotope Comics once, and it seems like they have quite a selection for comic books for a store of their size, but I'm not too sure because I'm not the comic fan. They had old and new comics, and they're also into the card games....you can buy a lot of cards there. Not many people work their either. Parking's pretty hard to find, but not many people go to that store.

Emerald Laundry & Cleaners isn't a bad laundromat to get your clothes cleaned. Their machines work fine (or at least the ones I tried). Parking is pretty hard to find since it's located on Noriega, and you also have to be willing to pay the meters. There are other stores, though not exciting ones, that are within walking distance. Or else you could walk even further to get to the many grocery stores on Noriega.

Clover Dry Cleaning & Laundry provides alright service. I got my clothes dry cleaned without any problems, and they turned out alright, so I guess I can say they get the job done. You'll have to find street parking, but the streets aren't that busy and dropping off clothes is always a quick job. I haven't found any flaws in their service, but I guess their building just isn't that appealing to me.

Missing Sock Laundry is a cool, medium sized laundry mat. It's located near the middle of the block and parking is hard to find. But, I like how modern and cool the place looks. They seem really trendy and their machines are pretty new. I think not too long ago they changed their big sign outside. And there are restaurants nearby so you'll be occupied while waiting for your clothes.

They're into independent and local acts too. It's a cool place to check out, but I haven't been there in a while. Prices are reasonable.

Green Apple Books is the best, most personable bookstore in San Francisco. They have an endless arrangement of books (and not to mention some other items like magazines, movies, and CDs). If you don't want to spend the entire day there, I suggest that you walk in and ask them where to find the specific title that you're looking for. That way, it will save you loads of time; trust me. Green Apple is pretty well known to the locals, and I also think I read that Robin Williams is a fan (cool, huh?).

The workers at Roaring Mouse Cycles offer top notch customer service. They'll work with you until you find what you're looking for. They don't mind if you're a beginner either, so don't be embarassed to ask questions or ask for suggestions. Their selection is really cool, even if you don't know what you're looking at! Prices are what you would pay at other stores. Besides bikes, they also sell odds and ends like bike gear. You'll have to find street parking though.

Refresh a Day Spa is appropriately named because that's what you'll feel like after a day at their spa. The atmosphere is really relaxing and gets you in the mood to just chill and slow down. I got a deep tissue massage here and it was absolutely wonderful. It was the best massage I've ever had. Considering their wonderful service and surroundings, their prices are affordable. I would absolutely recommend this spa for a stress free day.

Fog City News is an awesome place to load up on chocolate and magazines. You can literally find chocolate bars from around the world that have been imported to San Francisco. Same thing goes for the magazines. I never knew a place like this existed until one of my friends brought me there. It literally blew my mind when I laid my eyes on this chocolate heaven. It's hard deciding which kind of chocolate to choose, but the workers there are very helpful in answering your questions. They have chocolates that fit everyone's tastes. Some selections can be pricey, but there are lots of cheap ones too.
