We visit Dillinger's to buy food for our dog. They have a great selection of the higher end dog foods. Their prices are reasonable and they have a frequent buyer program. They have pet supplies for many other types of animals, and the people there are very friendly and will help carry things to your car. This isn't a fancy pet store, but do what they do, well.

My dog stayed here for about 3 weeks a few years ago. Their prices are much lower than keeping the dog at the vet's and they are located in a nice country setting. The only problem that we had was that our dog had fleas when she came back. I'm not sure if I would use them again.

While, I'd avoid this place at nighttime, when it becomes overrun with underage college students, it's a great place to have a few beers on a nice afternoon. There is plenty of picnic table seating in the beer garden, and usually some good drink specials also. The food is okay and veers towards greasy and salty, but on Friday afternoons there is a free vegetable and dip platter.

They also serve decent pub food (burgers, sandwhiches, fried appetizers, etc) until 10 pm. The waitresses are very friendly, and they have 2 big screen tvs usually showing sports.

As others have said, the music is sometimes too loud, but I think it is just a reflection of the trendy, downtown vibe they are trying to promote. Also, if you don't feel like spending $10 for a drink, they usually have specials on beer for $2-$3. I hear the food is really good too.

Mike and Molly's probably has the best selection of beers in CU. On their chalkboard menu, there are usually at least 20 different selections of hard to find imports and. The first floor has the classic bar/pub atmosphere while the upstairs is a little more lounge-y with sofas and easy chairs. They also have a beer garden in the summer.
