I think that Grand Avenue Hardware Do It Best (formerly Ace Hardware) is a great neighborhood hardware store. It is fun to wander through their two floors of wares. I am always impressed at what I find. However, what is more important is the customer service. You can always find someone to help you, which can’t be said about the gigantic home improvement super stores!
