I love this place! It is filled with books for all ages. It's full of the most current and exciting books. If you love to read you have to go to this store and just browse around. It's enjoying just being in there and to me it doesn't have that "Borders" feel. It's more relaxed and inviting. The prices are fair although we all know books can get expensive. They seem to be as well stocked as a library. I highly recommend this place!

This beautiful store has fabulous gift cards, stationary and many other great items. I could spend all day looking at all the wonderful things they sell in this store. It is a very large store that is well lit and has a great staff. I found some fun gift lines that they carry that I have never seen anywhere else.
Plus, you can walk right over to their bookstore near by which is another great place.
If you are looking for that special, unique gift, then you really need to look here first.

Petrillo's is an icon in San Gabriel. This was the first pizzaria that I remember as a child. We must have ordered take out pizza here hundreds of times over the last 30 years.
I'm sad to say the quality varies and I have after 30 years lessened my visits. I am unsure if it's because they are so busy that they occasionally burn your pizza or if it's that they think they are so great they don't care anymore. Whatever the case I would call their pizza disappointing at times to say the least.
They do of course offer other Italian dishes and they do have dine in as well as take out. My preference has always been take out so that is what I'm speaking about here.
I would say 7 times out of 10 it'll be the yummiest pizza you've ever tried.

If you are experiencing transmission problems I highly recommend Auto Man Transmissions in La Puente. A friend recommended them to me as he has been taking his family's cars there for years. The owner is very honest and the work is excellent.
If you have a problem after they complete your work they will run diagnostics and work to resolve problems at no cost.
My car needed 3 separate adjustments and each time I went in I was not charged. Mind you this was after I paid for the transmission rebuild in the first place. They addressed all of my concerns. They warranty their work for 12 months which is more than most places. These guys are experts!

Not long ago I called Triple A as my car wouldn't start. Because I live in San Gabriel, Triple A sent Dickson Auto Towing to pick up my car. The driver was given specific instructions to take my car to a certain city and place.
About an hour goes by and I get a car from a dealership telling me they have my car. I was in shock because I did not ask for my car to be dropped out at a dealership but at a specialty shop which he had the exact address for.
I called Dickson and was stunned when the person in charge stated that the driver still had my car on his truck. I explained that was impossible because I got a call from a total stranger at a dealership who identified my car and was given my phone number by the Dickson Tow Truck Driver.
Anything could have happened to my car while in the possession of the wrong place. The driver who worked for Dickson straight out lied and even though he picked up my car from the dealership and delivered it to the right place I was horrified by what had happened. I would NEVER recommend this towing company.

I'm not really into looking around super large size stores and this is one of them. This place offers a wide variety of buying, eating and a lot of walking. I get frustrated just trying to find a place to park. I honestly wish they had never gotten rid of the target that once stood in it's place. Tour buses regularly venture here so you can imagine the crowds then.
I must say there are a lot of items to look at and if you like to shop in crowded places this is a good option for that. Not really my cup of tea though.

Would you like to get your dog a hair cut. Or maybe you want his or hers nails trimmed. In San Gabriel there are only a couple dog groomers and this is one that is right off the main Strip which is Valley Blvd. It is also right next to Valley Veterinary which is a full service veterinary office.
The only probably I found is when I wanted my large size dog groomed the owner could not accommodate. Evidentially a medical condition wouldn't allow her to pick up a heavy dog. That was some time ago so hopefully the owner is fully recovered and could handle the big doggies as well. A great job is done on the little ones I can attest to that. Prices are fair but it's a little hard to find this shop so you may want to just go in back of Valley Veterinary to find it.

Di Pilla's Restaurant has the most scrumptious bread ever. They serve it fresh before your meal and it is heavenly. I'm sure it's full of calories but heck it's worth it. They have excellent pizza and the pasta dishes are yummy as well.
The prices are reasonable and the place is clean. Staff is friendly and the service is good. With so few non Asian restaurants left in San Gabriel this is place is a gem. And that is nothing against Asian Cuisine as I love it however, there are so many in San Gabriel and we all love choices.

Remember that safety is important so I would recommend buying a neck guard and helmet as your top priorities.
Don't cinch on the ammo as you want a good brand. You can find all price points but if your playing in the hot sun you want to invest in ones that won't get stuck in your gun.

Currently she is on a temporary leave so you would not be able to sign up as a new patient. However, when she returns I would highly recommend you go to hear for your personal care needs.
